4500rpm red line? I looked it up, 6.75 litre, peak torque at 1750RPM (811lb/ft). 530hp at 4000rpm.. It’s petrol but has the characteristics of a diesel.

Yeah many “sporty” diesels have higher redline (e.g. Golf GTD, M50d BMWs etc)

Josh Bacon - the Dodge Demon is also build using plastic screws and glue, and if you suggest to it that you're about to try cornering it will spontaneously barrel role before you've even turned the wheel.

Pushrod engine? Long live the pushrod!!! There were no issues besides the lower-than-normal redline and maybe a little extra noise. Timing gears, push rods, all great. I work on small engines at may age, 16. All of em have pushrods. They're incredibly reliable. Great job Volkswagen !

Traditionally, Bentley used to be the "sporty" alternative to Rolls-Royce. They even have plenty of racing pedigree, although we're talking 1920s to early 1930s, when the huge Bentley racers (nicknamed "the world's fastest lorries") had some successes at Le Mans. There have been some recent successes however, most notably with the EXP Speed 8, which won Le Mans in 2003 and achieved class victories in '01, '02 and '03. Their current and previous Continental GT is also a successful GT race car.

Jaguar Land Rover should seriously consider to use the Daimler badge to manufacture vehicles as an ultra-luxury car brand to compete against maybach, Bentley or Rolls-Royce. Daimler has always been known as a brand associated with aristocracy. Brand presence shouldn't be an issue.

Chris...there are drier tracks in warmer climbs you can move your family to......unless your a Swede Snow and winter makes no sense. Unfortunately the Grand Tour with our fav hosts blows. What TG did in 2008 to 12, peak years will never be repeated, it is as if stars aligned, trio's Amazon show is actually worse than last season of bbc TG. What TG in those years is now classic, will probably never be topped
