Hello there, in this video I will be doing a DIY (do it yourself) bentonite clay natural hair mask and will be showing you how I use it on my 4C natural hair. Bentonite clay is beneficial to draw out toxins or heavy metals we accumulate from everyday activities as well as pollution. It has amazing minerals that can assist in having stronger hair and retaining length. It also makes the hair shiny, soft and moisturised. Enjoy the video.

Amazing thing about this mask is that you can also use it on your face without the oil. Helps for oily skin and blackheads.

Yeah hey, you have SERIOUS shrinkage. I thought your hair was short like mine only for you to stretch it until your cleavage😱. Such good hair. Do you have any tips to alleviate shrinkage to maximize the look of mini twists or afros?

Hey there, definitely. Sleeping in sectioned braids if you have your hair out in an Afro helps. Also when my hair is in mini twists I stretch the hair by clipping it down with hair clips and putting on a satin scarf when I sleep. That helps . ❤️

What did you do after rinsing it off, do you shampoo it?

Hey there, this treatment can dry the hair because it’s detoxing and removes all impurities. So after rinsing it out you have to deep condition your hair and also use a leave in conditioner and seal in with an oil that helps your hair retain moisture.

You don’t have to shampoo your hair before or after this treatment because bentonite clay is clarifying and shampooing the hair before or after this treatment with unnecessarily make your hair dry.
