Thinking about doing a casual comparison video where we discuss and rate the Bentley GTC, S Class , and M850i....thoughts? I think there would be some great dialogue from this.

NO, not an S Class killer at all...it's just a newer renamed 6 series very beautiful but I still think the 6 series Gran coupe is one of the best looking BMW cars you will see on the road and it's great that it's still gonna remain relevant

At a BMW M Event, they handed me the keys to it and asked me to come back within a half hour. Traffic caused me to go on some rough back industrial roads. It’s absolutely a heavy sport GT. You can feel the road but it takes any sharpness out of harsh bumps. It wants you to drive FAST and hit the corners HARD. The only negative: The seats look great and for a short time are comfortable - but after a half an hour I WANTED to bring the car back. For my 6’4” frame the seats became shockingly stiff hard and uncomfortable. I’m comparing this to Benz Bentley Maserati Lexus Volvo, other BMWs, Chrysler and even a Prius, (which we took from San Diego to Ensenada Mexico). I literally could not wait to get out of that seat, which looks great but is the worst I’ve been in, otherwise, I absolutely LOVED the car. It might compete in the same $$$

Great car and this is the best review i have seen to date, it was natural, unforced and plenty of fluency! Great review Sir and sensational automobile. My only gripe is that BMW needs meatier tires on this beast, those small tires leaves me wanting!!

As many have stated, the S Coupe is in an entirely different league; but this car is no slouch either! With all that is going on design and technology-wise, the lower door handles really caught my eye. Small, inconsequential thing, but something that I think I'd get a kick out of every time closed the door if I owned one of these.

A class review.

First off, Love your reviews and I am looking at resale 2021 M850i xDrive convertible or a 2020 911 4S cabriolet. BMW scares me because they drop in value so badly. I never noticed previously, but do you always match your clothing to the color of the car? I think it's pretty cool!

BMW had since 2014 to figure out and come up with a S63 AMG cabriolet killer and I am disappointed to say after 5 years of trying to copy and come up with a better competitive product ...they still cannot beat Mercedes

More an E class killer. The AMG S Coupe is a much higher quality car. The 8 is a great sports car but it’s not on the same level as S65 Coupe’s larger size, V12 engine, much better interior, more elegant exterior design. BMW has even said this was not made to compete with the S Series Coupe but a different style sports car.

S Class coupe will never be beaten!

This is the first BMW besides the X6 that's caught my attention. The interior has always been my biggest complaint of BMW. Even still, I'm a Benz boy at heart. The S-Class can't be touched!

S Class killer? Nope. The M850 is nice but the S class just looks more luxurious, more expensive and nearly everything else.

Great review as always, I'm just curious which one of the three luxury convertibles you've done recently would you choose if buying. Continental, S coupe, or M850?

Great review and it is a beautiful car but I still prefer the 6 series convertible. Yes the 8 has a better engine but overall I prefer the interior of the 6. Also the 6 has a larger trunk, more back seating space ( not the greatest room in the back seat but the 8 series can't fit anyone in the back) also the front in the 6 has more head room and shoulder width. Much more comfortable than the 8 series. I'm a large guy and I felt cramped in the 8 series when I sat in it in the dealership. Overall the 8 series is a beautiful car, but for the half a second difference for 0-60 I still prefer the 6 series. Besides, who can deny the beautiful flowing leather and stitching of the 6 series is not one of the most beautiful interiors of any car.

On the Outside maybe but when it comes to Interiors, S class dominates all its rivals. This Bmw interior is too plain, nothing says luxury like an S class. Great Video 👍🏻

Even as someone who prefers BMW in almost all years, and all classes- I don't think the 8 series compares to the S class.

They also need to coupe the 7 series

"S-Class Killer?" Nah.... Its just a nice looking convertible. The rear & side view of this car is 10 out of 10 in my book, its the front grill that gives this car an eyesore. How long will BMW use this front grill? If they connected the two grills together, this would make the front look better, that's just my opinion though.

Good review. Hard to compare the two. This wouldn't do it for me if I was a MB buyer. Too low looking and too many creases, a malady of all current BMW vehicles, including the SUV's.

S class is better looking. I like the 850, and I looked at one but I dont fit at 6'5" tall. 523 hp also is way under the S63. Sounds pretty mean though !!

Beautiful car. Think I'd prefer the coupe. However the original 6 series drop top was just as nice (exterior) if not nicer especially if u could afford a Hamann body kit. S-class killer? To me not even close to AMG Mercedes. I put that S class coupe against Bentley. Although that new Bentley GTC is near perfect, you can argue that the Mercedes is a more advanced car technically. Just my opinion however.

I think this car is above average in terms of exterior design. Interior design is like any Honda accord or even a Camry being very honest. However, it is way elegant than accord or Camry. I’m sure everyone BMW guy know its not close to Mercedes or Bentley. Cus these two brands are fighting each other. I would say Bentley cannot compete with merc on interior but only exterior. I’m sure he meant BMW wanted it to be merc killer but in his honest thoughts he knows clearly merc cannot be compared to it. Its only to Bentley and also Aston martin... great review tho

BMW, unfortunately, will never have Mercedes Benz quality. They “cheap out“ in certain areas the car where Mercedes Benz will not. Prime example is the convertible top. That car should have a convertible hardtop. If Mercedes Benz can figure out how to put a hardtop in a trunk, So can BMW. Obviously the technology is there but maybe the profit margin is not, for BMW.

Mercedes Benz will always be my preferable car brand. My boyfriend changed his car from Me4cedes to BMW and I told him I was no longer attracted to him, I left him because of his car choice. 🙈😂

This car can’t touch my 2012 SL63 AMG, not performance, not handling, not seats, not hard top convertible, not body styling, and not the interior.
