Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a 2023 first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. It is a sequel to 2022's Modern Warfare II, serving as the third entry in the rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series and the twentieth installment in the overall Call of Duty series. The game was released on November 10, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Modern Warfare III retains the realistic, modern setting of its predecessors and continues the sub-series storyline. The story follows multi-national special operations unit Task Force 141 tracking down Vladimir Makarov, a Russian ultranationalist and terrorist planning to trigger a third World War. The game's multiplayer includes sixteen remastered maps from 2009's Modern Warfare 2, with at least twelve new maps planned for inclusion post-launch. A Zombies mode, co-created by Black Ops sub-series developer Treyarch and built around an open world player versus environment experience, is also included.
After wrapping development on Call of Duty: Vanguard (2021), Sledgehammer Games were reportedly assigned by Activision to develop an expansion pack for Modern Warfare II, which then changed to become a full, standalone release in the Call of Duty series. After a series of leaks in early-to-mid 2023, the game was officially revealed in August 2023, with a showcase event and public beta also taking place in October. Upon release, Modern Warfare III received mixed reviews: it received praise for its multiplayer mode but criticism for its campaign mode, while its Zombies mode received mixed opinions.

The truth is that the Spas 12 or Reclaime 18 (I don't know why they gave it that name) looks and sounds powerful. I already said that it has a fire selector since the Spas 12 is a shotgun with a pump mechanism and semi-automatic firing (at least it is MWIII's weapon that sounds like a real weapon, the rest sound like plastic toys)

@@UltraJaffthat law does not apply to video games. No where in the article is depictions of firearms and their likeness in media mentioned. Also the law was enacted in 2022 after the use of fake names in MW19 and Cold War.

The reason is copyright. The manufacturers are legally able to sue for using the likeness. That’s why the acr bushmaster(mcw) has a different name, but the mp5 used to just be called that

I love how when you’re shooting while semi-automatic, the weapon goes all over the place as you keep firing it, compared to firing pump action. Nice little detail

I don't like reloading at "SPAS-12".Tactical is generally strange, since it was taken from Remington 870. On the plus side, a dual-mode system is implemented, that is, switching from a pump to a semi-automatic and vice versa.

Prob the non empty reload is just a placeholder since they finally introduced dual loading into the game. And they are trying figure something out with new style of reloading. Soh however, at least the person is holding the button I guess

For season 5, they should have the M19 (SIG P320) be a battle pass, or reloaded weapon. It should also some with a conversion kit based off The Flux Raider.

Seeing a lot of comments about the aggressive reload, so here's why: The SPAS-12 is notoriously difficult to reload. The user has to press two buttons to unlock the loading gate, and the loading gate itself is hard to open. The user has to use a lot of force to insert each shell

For the auto fire: If you listen carefully, the sound firing animation sounds similar to Far Cry 6, the SPAS 12. Just giving you guys a heads-up 👍

Is there an attachment to have the stock folded up to the top of the gun? I mean, im pretty sure ive seen that in leaked pictures for it but i just thought I'd ask. In my opinion, the spas 12 shotgun usually looks better that way in games ive played that have it. Also if that is an option, i wonder what it'll do to weapon stats. Like, it'll probably increase mobility and handling, but at the same time wouldn't you think itd still be top heavy or have the same weight at a different spot? Im probably over thinking it and they'll have it for mobility though, basing it off of other mw2 and mw3 guns with no stock attachments.

I’lol be honest, I don’t understand what the character does before starting to shove the ammo. I know you need to hold some kind of a button to unlock that flap, but what are the other movements?

Yeah, it does look and sound pretty good. I honestly think it'd look a little better if they made the partial reload turn the gun over like they did with an empty reload. The current partial reload looks a little lazy. Compared to some other animations for weapons in mw3 I mean.

That SPAS-12/Reclaimer-18 animation is incredibly dumb. What's the point of releasing the bolt and pumping it forward when you have to rerack the thing to chamber a shell!?
