I suffered “church hurt” and haven’t been to a church in 2 years until today. I’ve been watching one of your sermons EVERYDAY during those 2 years and the church I went to today didn’t hit like this. I may have to move from Detroit to Houston.

It can be tough. I think it can be harder for us to let go of church hurt. When we have put a person of people on a pedestal. When we forget that they are still imperfect and flawed human beings. It may help you to be healed from this hurt, if you choose to lift that person or people up in prayer. And if you choose to a blessing to them in one way or another, if and when the spirit of the Lord lead you to do so. We have to realize that Jesus is the ultimate example of what we should follow as far as being a Christian. The Pharisees was the main people that came up against Jesus, His ministry, His assignment, and His walk in Christ. If my memory serves me correctly they was the group that ended up crucifying Him in the end. The Pharisees was the prime example of what it look like when someone is bound by the religious spirit, and was the initial example of what church hurt was going to look and sound like. But when we have not learned how to not be people pleasers, or we have not yet learned how to not let people move, deter, distract, or stop us from serving God, and being about our Father's business. Then it is very hard to move pass this church hurt. It may have caused you a tremendous amount of pain, and it may have blindsided you. But you have to choose to let God heal you from the inside out. Heal you from pan, childhood trauma, or any trauma that you have encountered in general, and ask the Lord to help you grow and evolve in HIM and HIM alone. God showed us in scripture that so call church people may attack and hurt us, but God also showed us in scripture that we have to choose to push past that all day and everyday. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I pray your strength in the Lord, and I pray that you follow God's voice, will, lead, call, and instructions for your life. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You may experience so call church hurt anywhere you go. We generally can't run from or escape from experiencing pain. We sometimes have to ask the Lord to bless us with a spirit of endurance regardless, and ask the Lord to bless us to understand what He's trying to say to us in His word while we are reading/studying it. The race is not given to the swift, nor to the strong, but those that endure to the end. Choose to endure to the end sister in Christ, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen and Amen.

And that's why we have to watch what we call ourselves, and watch what we answer to. Stop calling yourself a nigga, female dog, dog, and all that type of stuff. You are speaking death over yourself by choosing to do that. And some of the ladies was really tripping when he said some things pertaining to the women. I guess it didn't apply to them, so it made them feel really good about themselves. Prayer changes things, people's, minds, and hearts. I appreciate EVERYTHING that the pastor said. It was very much needed and transparent. But some of the reactions was uncalled, unnecessary, and petty. Women need to be more sensitive to their sister's and their struggles. I used to be one of those women, and people laughing at me, talking about me, belittling me, or putting me down did NOT help. All it did was produce further shame, guilt, fear, and embarassment, and pushed me closer and closer to my sin. I thank God for freeing and delivering me, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I thank you Lord for freeing me as I was able to draw closer to you with the time and opportunity that you presented to me. And I praise and thank you God for it. I praise you Lord, Jesus. I thank you Lord.
