One of the lies of anxiety is that EVERYTHING is urgent... EVERYTHING has to be rushed!

I just clicked on this because it wasn't sure what "ready" you were talking about. I usually skip anything revolving around love and what not, but God has been working on my heart to be open to these kind of topics because it's MORE than romantic relationships. To be a child of God is have God centered relationships of ALL kinds. Thank You, LORD and thank You for Your child doing good work (Pastor Jerry)

I’m still washing off the “afterbirth” of the last experience of heartbreak ❤️‍🩹. I’m still healing. I’m in off season. I’m not ready yet. It’s reconstruction 🚧 season. I’m in pasture season. I’m embracing my season. I trust the timing ⏱ of God. Pastor You always have a Rhema Word. A closed curtain doesn’t mean the production is over … it just means it getting prepared! Amen 🙏🏽

Thank you for this Therapy Thursday message. I needed to hear every single word. It made me realize. I made the right decision in my healing season. I wasn't ready yet. God forgive me for giving someone a time because I didn't want to lose them, but thank you for giving me the ability strength and discernment to recognize I wasn't ready at the time I gave. That person gave up on me, but I am so grateful I stood my ground in my healing season. Thank you Jesus I am still alright in my construction season. I want to be right in my due season and not rushed to be what someone else needs me to be in their due season. Thank you for this message. Thank you thank you thank you.

Yes Jerry I was angry with God because of false expectations. Walked away from 25 years of ministry and 27years of marriage. Was in rebellion for 5 years. I’ve been back home with the father 7 months. Thanks 🙏🏾

Just because you are available, frustrated, and you think you're ready does not mean you are ready yet. If I can get that through my thick skull, perhaps I'd be much happier and experience more joy. It's all in the signs. The distance between where you are and the anointed time is trust, training, and patience. Wow. Perfectionism is the spirit of fear masked. That hit home. You're Not Ready Yet | Therapy Thursday | Jerry Flowers 1. Haven't outgrown toddler language 2. Healing (Risk bleeding, projecting, attaching, pushing those that I need away) Don't question your call because you're not doing what you're called to do in this season. That's wisdom to know you're not ready when you are attempting for God to wash away the afterbirth from heartbreak. 3. Emotional needs are in poverty. 4. This season feels like a prison The worse place you can ever be is the same place you were last year. Now that truly hit home. This is my pasture season. Faith is not just what you believe but how long you believe it.

I know when I am just trying to trick myself into being ready for the next stage of where God wants to take me. I will consistently try to over talk myself into it as well as listen to a lot of sermons and I pray almost nonstop throughout the days. Then by like the seventh day I have to tell myself to stop with the noise. Whenever God is ready for me to move I get this overwhelming feeling of wanting to hold onto the door frame as he is pulling my legs telling me to let the door go because you have to go now. Just like a kid I will cry all the way until I get to where I am going and be like, "Oh, this is not bad after all. I can do this." Then I have to apologize for being such a kid. Me and my moments. I can picture God rolling his eyes at me like, "This child."🤣🤣🤣 Just how I feel whenever I am going to my next stage of life.🤍❤️

Thank you for this word pastor. I just recently reconnected with an old friend who i've learned has dedicated her life to christ and the idea of potentially marrying her has been pervasive in my thoughts. Despite this, I am trying to be patient because not only am I healing from sin, but I have trouble with discerning friendship, and romance. This sermon just gave me justification on what i've been trying to do. I'm not ready for a relationship yet so ill cherish this time and grow. Thank you so much again. THIS APPOINTMENT ANALOGY IS STEPPING ON MY NECK!!! "Frustrated & upset at God...low key agitated, irritated" Yeah. AAALLLLAA DAT 😭😭😭 But I showed up at 4am, there before anything was even open 😩 But I just knew I was gonna get some sort of secret, back door service. Chiiillllddd. Now it's 9am, 10am, etc & I'm pissed 😓 Mm mm mm. Whew! I forgot to mention how the part about throwing off everybody else's appts hit me for sure! Never considered how prematurity in my lane could throw off someone else's! WHEW! CRAZY how self centered I can be that I don't even CONSIDER such a thing. Wowowowow. Aaannddd I'm back- I had to pause & walk away after that, "I don't even trust GOD, so how can I trust an accountability partner?" My best friend lovingly showed me I was in that place months ago & here you are calling me out in a new way, Pastor! Jesuuusss. She said, "If you're having issues with God then you won't be able to truly receive a man after God's own heart." 😭😭 It feels like I got kicked in the chest tonight. I've known I'm not ready, but this shed light & gave new specificity. I'm so grateful for this word! I really needed it! I also appreciated when you said, "The distance between being called & it being my season is Training, Trusting God & Patience." That was a new one! It really resonated with me. Thank you! Thank You, Lord. I've definitely dealt with knowing I'm not ready but being angry, impatient, frustrated, resentful & yet grateful all at once. I've been going through a time, child 😂 a TIIIIIIMMMEEE! So that prayer at the end blessed me like whip cream on top lol! Especially that part about the "By now's" b/c I certainly have a few. I especially appreciate when you posed the question " How do I handle the gap between where you are now and the appointed time?" The answer: the appointed time is Trust, Training and patience or the distance between petition and the manifestation of trust, training, and patience.
