Pastor Jerry Flower's 5 key points for identifying and disarming traps: Spiritual foxes, are the little things that appear small and harmless that have the capacity to cause a great deal of damage left unchecked. Scripture tells us to catch them right away to avoid being ensnared by thier ability to compound into greater problems. How to avoid traps that dont look like traps: 1. Acknowledge. The enemy puts traps in cub form- a problem will be placed in your life at a premature phase. If you think its ok to let it be, the problem will fully mature and cause great damage. 2. Know your lust patterns! Don't entertain situations that are your weak points like staring at girls in the gym, visiting clubs, wearing certain clothes that trigger others, etc. There is lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Those areas, the enemy will send a fox. 3. The principle of first- If you seek the kingdom first, you are already full of the living bread and water so pursuing fleeting things will not be of your interest. Make sure God is first. 4. Perceive atmospheres that greive your spirit- be aware of areas that cause you to act out of character. Examples of this are like being around toxic family members, arguments, and gossip that will trigger your anger. 5. Identify who enriches your soil, from who eats your fruit- abstain from interacting with people in your life that don't enrich your spiritual journey. Recognize when others cause you to question your actions that are good that you are trying to produce. Take up the opportunity to represent the kingdom right away, don't allow delay to prevent your good fruits from taking effect.

It's the small ingredients in food that affect our metabolism, cell-replication, gut microbiome, immunity, energy levels etc as they are compounded through the day. Dont ignore the ingredients. Learn what they are and how they affect you

Catch the little things that’s getting in the way of my relationship with Jesus. He is the Vine and I must abide in Him. Joy is a belief system I choose to have watch out for the little foxes. Intimacy with Jesus brings Joy. The joy of the Lord is my strength and I need Jesus. He is my strength. Joy is not found in trying to hold it all together. It’s found when God holds me together. Yes foxes steals your joy. I’ve learned to watch people more and respond less and it shows the sort of person they are simply by just watching their actions and words no matter if they are my family members. My discernment is so good now because I’ve learn who and what to give my energy to/access to me. People say I’m weird but it’s not I’m weird it is that I discern and keep my distance😂. My own mother judges me for wanting to heal and break the cycle but I’ve learned to give grace and stay in my Christ like character no matter how much hurt I have in me😁
