The 1934 beretta is a very old design but is very solid and reliable. Modern guns are generally much better for practical use are easier to use and are generally much more accurate.

I would say this is a gun for old geezers who are familiar with it and have already relied on it in the past. I no longer carry mine, but I certainly would if circumstances called for it. It's two biggest flaws are its poorly located safety and magazine release.
