I got a 6.5 Cr all black. I had my gunsmith mount a scope on it and then brought it home. The Bolt was not on the rifle. And the safety switch was on Red. I didn't know how to get the switch down to the locked position (white). I kept pressing on top and nothing was happening. Till I started watching your review and at 6:45 you pressed "forward" on the switch to get it to move. I put the video on pause, grabbed the rifle that is been sitting behind me in a case and pressed as hard as I could and what do you know, it worked. So, thank you for that. Your video review paid off. I had problem getting the bolt mounted since I brought it home from my gunsmith. First, there was a part of trigger that was in the vertical position blocking the bolt to be mounted. I was pushing it down with my finger to lock down but it wasn't. I emailed my gunsmith photos and he called me and said to use a screwdriver to push it further down to lock it in and it worked. Then I tried to mount it again, but it wasn't going in. I looked at it in detail and apparently there is a tiny, tiny button on the left hand side that you are supposed to press and hold and then press the bolt forward to fall in place and it did. But, it took like three days of research to solve three issues with the bolt. But, I tell you after mounting the bolt I tried it and it is totally awesome and as smooth as can be. I kept playing with it forward and backward and just brought smile to my face after getting it to work. I am planning to add two other calibers as soon as they become available. I bought mine from the folks at Gunzonedeals dot com. If you want the lowest price anywhere on a firearm, they are it. BTW, love your reviews, you get into the nitty gritty details that might be missed. Keep up the good work and thanks for solving my last problem :)

Looked at a few different straight pulls over the last 10-15 yrs, just couldn't talk myself into the price on them, even though they do involve a lot of estra work to build. I definitely like the concept, haven't encountered one I wasn't impressed with, don't think a person would go wrong on them, but, have to have the will to spend the loot on one, wouldn't take long to get into an 8-10k investment.

Really an impressive rifle. So when you swap ejection to the other side, the bolt lugs are seemingly all locking into a different recess? Obviously this would change point of impact, but its amazing to me that they were able to get the tolerances such that it works in either configuration safely and reliably

@bmghunter59662 ай бұрын
The scope goes with the barrel. You need to have multiple scopes for multiple barrels to maintain zero. Otherwise if you try to keep one scope for multiple barrels, you will need to rezero since the scope gets unmounted . What's a second barrel cost? Who provides them?
