This makes me so happy that i accidentally stumbled upon this because I own 2 full size 9mm handguns, a Jericho 941F and a beretta 92x. I actually bought the 92x with the intention of relaxing my Jericho with it but then took them both to the range and shot them size by side and decided to keep the Jericho. In my opinion, the Jericho is a better pistol. It shoots softer, the manual of arms is Better (for me, the Jericho works more naturally, don’t have to adjust my shooting grip with it where I kind of have to think about the beretta before I shoot it or else I hit the slide release accidentally and it doesn’t lock back after the last round). With that said, the beretta is definitely a gun that I bought simply “because it’s cool” and I’ve always thought it was a very attractive firearm. The Italian lineage is also appealing since I like my Italian motorcycles. The one thing I will give to the beretta is that much to my surprise, I actually shoot the beretta a lot better. Definitely shoot tighter, more consistent groups with my beretta despite the Jericho feeling better while shooting and especially given the fact that my Jericho was brand new and the beretta was well used and the bore looks like it was recovered from the bottom of the ocean. Both guns are great though, would highly recommend either for someone looking into a “wonder 9.”

Good review 👍 I've had a Beretta 92 Fs about 10 years (80's untill beginning of 2000). Now i've got the IMI Jericho for à couple off years. And i prefer the Jericho a lot more than the Beretta. (The Beretta grip was to big for my hands). The Jericho is just perfect (for me). Because of the slide is deep into the frame you have as good as no recoill and it's not 'topheavy' (like other types witch are more higher build) I've had a lot of handguns in all thes years (FN GP, Beretta, S&W, Sig Sauer p226, different Glocks several revolvers,.....) and the Jericho is just...the best (i've just buyed a second Jericho 9mm compact 😀). But like many things : it's only what you want...

Why oh why can’t they make the Jericho without that horrific rail. Not every gun needs a laser light ninja gadget attached. It kills such a perfect looking pistol… I still have a couple of them because they are AWESOME!

Too funny, I had the Baby Eagle version of this gun and traded it in years ago to get my 92FS. About 2 years ago, I began my quest to find another old version Baby Eagle without the rail! Not bad for a first video.

Hi from Northern Ireland... Thanks for the video. I've had a Beretta .380 Cheetah (13+1) for 20 yrs and have been looking to move to 9mm for a while but never found anything that was as well made. I think the Jericho could be 'the one'... Maybe the compact (3.8 barrel) all metal version. One question, what is the quality like compared to the Beretta? Thank you.

I love the Jericho and it doesn't get enough love if you ask me. I have a 941FS and you can call me crazy, but I carry it appendix. It's heavy, yes, but not impossible, and having just a slightly shorter slide helps. DA/SA pistols are my preferred type, so my carry rotates between this and a Walther PPK/s when I need something smaller. As a side note, mine is a frame mounted safety, and I kinda wish it was a slide mount de-cocker. That's how the PPK works, and since I carry in DA mode, racking the round and letting the hammer down gently is a moment of focus. It's a mild annoyance, and I'm careful, but still... Slide de-cocker would be better. But I still love my Jericho. Now you took the Die Hard moment with the Beretta, I'll take the Jericho's pop culture moment. "See you, Space Cowboy!"

Nice video..well done for your first! You simulated shooting Hans, so you probably should have waited for a helicopter to fly by and shot at that as well to give Mel Gibson some respect! The muzzle flip of the Jericho seemed less than the 92. Have you shot either against an all metal CZ, like an SP-01? Was there a noticeable difference in the triggers, either the pull weight or travel? Looking to get a good full size, steel frame pistol for my next gun, and these 3 would be considered. Though I may prefer the 92X instead of the FS. Thanks!

I have both pistols as well, although my Jericho is the all metal .45 ACP version. Both sickeningly accurate and well built, but two completely different animals....to me, at least.

I shoot 200-300 rounds per month out of my M&P Shield Plus and my Baretta M-9. I prefer the size of the Plus for carry but I never shoot the same groups with it as I do the M-9. As far as the Baretta grip, my wife is a tiny little old granny of about 140 lbs. She started shooting pistols about 2 years ago and started with the Baretta M-9 in 22 caliber. She prefers to shoot my M-9 9mm simply because she can, with her little hands, hold onto it when firing. Turns out, she's a better shot than I am at 10 yards with either the 22 or the 9mm. I wouldn't want to go against her in a gunfight with any weapon we have.
