In your glove box, GREAT, but too big to drop in your back pocket. -- me, I carry both. A FULL size in the glove box, and an AR and a back up 9 with my 'get home bag' in the trunk. Though, the .32 is a little light. I Sometimes carry mine, but usually I pack a Sig 938 Or the kimber micro 9.

I have a .22 bobcat and just love it. You do have to experiment with the ammo to get a reliable option. It won't feed everything well, but when you find the right ammo it does very well. Safety tip! If the tip up bbl. Is loaded you have to manually remove it from the bbl. There is no extractor so racking the slide won't remove it. You must use the tip up feature. God bless all here.

The issue with the frame cracking in the 32 is ammo related. Beretta even addressed it in the manual. If I recall correctly, the euro 32 is hotter than American made 32. The Tomcat has to use the lighter powered 32 ammo to prevent it I do love the tip ups. I use my 21a as a pocket gun daily.

Hey, Brother! I have a 3032 Tomcat covert as my EDC pocket carry. Yes, without the can, a round in the barrel goes flying out of that thing when you flick the switch. The Beretta 86 was the last .380 ACP tip-up. I would also love to see them bring .380 ACP tip up back, or even 9mm.

Eric - I have a lot of tip-ups from 22short to 32acp from Beretta and Taurus and love them ~ BUT - They have no extractors so you can’t rack the slide a few times and think it’s unloaded. It isn’t and I have never had a round “flip” out by tipping the barrel. But they are a ton of fun.

I bought the Taurus nock off version of this pistol. Reliable. Definitely just a close range gun with hard to see, non-adjustable, fixed sights. I have taken pistols on the trap line to dispatch and used this pistol in .22 on a bobcat. Because pistols are hard to actually hunt with, I normally take a .22 rifle to dispatch so I am also in hunting mode for target animals of opportunity. Except for grips, this gun was all metal, so not a light pistol for its size, but fits in pocket very easily, but always recommend at least a pocket friction holster to protect your leg from rubbing friction and of course to reduce printing.

I have had a 21 bobcat for 27 years. Last year I decided I wanted a pocket pistol with more punch. I bought a smith and Wesson crimson trace 380 body guard and hated it. I shot several other pocket types and ended up buying the same tomcat you have. Nothing I shot felt as natural in hand and was anywhere near as accurate. This is my gym shorts summertime dog walking piece. Great for shooting a critter inches from your dog

Interesting timing, I was just out shooting mine for the first time yesterday. Very nice, when it works, very picky with ammo. And a real pain to clear a malfunction. Edit: well yours just stovepiped - for some reason my firing pin hits the top of the rim and it gets real stuck in there. I had to take a stick through the barrel to clear it a few times.

I absolutely love my 21! Yeah the sights suck but it is absolutely natural to point of aim 15 yards and closer. You know good point of aim if you can close your eyes, bring it up to target, and see how on target it is. Same with the sig p365 but sadly my Glock 43 is not that way but can put great night sights on

I'd love for Beretta to revive the 71/Jaguar in .22 and give it the same treatment the 80X/Cheetah just recently got in terms of modernization, but that'd probably cannibalize the 21A Covert sales they're getting from all the different cerakote permutations they have now. I really like shooting and carrying my Tomcat. Many people scoff at the caliber and the ammo capacity, but I'd dare someone to name me a pocket gun in 380 that is easier to hit on target during a magazine dump. Something like the Glock 42 or SIG P365 in 380 probably come close, but they aren't exactly what I'd call "pocket size." Since I actually enjoy shooting the Tomcat, I actually practice with it, and that's probably the most important thing of all. Quick and accurate hits from a smaller bullet trump slow misses from a larger one.
