The Nagy at the head of the blade pays homage to the one orange peel buster design. Meaning you can hook that notch on the edge of your pocket the heel of your shoe or boot and get the blade out. By the way cooked carrots are awesome.

Looks cool but I can’t get over the micarta pivot collar. Looks like there’s lint in there when there isn’t. Breaks up that perfect circle line which, for some reason, triggers the hell out of me.

I want this in the full size. I’m not usually a fan of the cleaver/Razor blade shape.. but I like this. I’d spring for a full size in a heart beat. Full Ti with a SW blade. Some texturing on the scales would be ideal but not necessary.

I went all out on the standard size barber, curious to your thoughts compared to the mini, I loved the standard size so much I have two 😊 (Button Lock, plunge model)

That tip is like a razor’s “barber’s notch,” which I think was used for two handed sharpening (at least that’s what I use it for on my razors that have the notch).

I didn't realize it was a top flipper. I really like the Iron Wolf. Not really familiar with the Mini Barber. I don't like the blade aesthetic, but I do like the look of the scales. Kinda cool.

I have too many cleaver/sheepsfoot/ straight razor style blades as it is, so not for me. The fit and finish looks on point, and the ease of disassembly is nice too. The end of it looks like a torn off raffle ticket lol.

Guessing Berg is fancy stuff ehh? cus the most expensive knife I own is the AD20.5 in titanium and this is almost that price for a lot less of a knife...

I mean, Matt Westberg is a custom knife maker. He uses Reate as an OEM to make production versions of his custom designs. Reate is the best Chinese OEM in the biz. That’s just a fact. And if they made a full size version of this knife again (they have before) it would be about 25 dollars more. The size of the knife has almost no bearing on the price. AD20.5’s are made in Taiwan. They are very good knives. I edc a 3V and G10 AD20.5 at work. But, they feel nowhere near as premium as a Reate made knife. So, in less words, yes, they’re kind of fancy.
