The fountains that used to be in the middle of the mall were the best!

Seeing Sears shut down is wild. Before BK moved upstairs, I remember when burger king was behind the escalators. That turned into rite aid which turned into a music shop. The old cigar and pipe shop aside of Pomeroy's /Bon-Ton. I always enjoyed the sweet smell of tobacco hovering in air. The old arcade on the 2nd floor. The bugs bunny warner bros themed restaurant early 80s before they developed food court. KB toy store. The master fountains at the center of the mall with the kaleidoscope lights. York Steakhouse was in the early to mid 80s . I think the one at fairgrounds was better. I fell down in the fountains as a kid in front of the John Wannamaker's entrance. Pet store/ Taco casa on 1st floor when reported first walked in at. Across the aisle the old old Fox Theater that had two screens. Not the one across street that was berkshire mall west. that became circuit city / old country buffet.

I remember visiting this mall in 1977. The fountain that used to be in the middle was beautiful, especially in the evenings. Very warm and moody ambience when built. 80s/90s re-models always seem bad.

2008 I was out here for black Friday weekend ans thus mall was full of stores and people

THIS MALL IS THE BEST!!!! I'm so glad the Morgue and Black Rose are opening up here, they'll be great additions to this mall. About when did you film this if you don't mind me asking? I was there a few weeks ago and the Sears fountain was off. I'm glad you were able to see it in its full glory!

a real live mall! I love it!

My first part time job in 1996 was at the Burger King upstairs in the food court. I lasted about 3 weeks there before getting a job downstairs at Woolworth (located about where the Aeropostale is at now). Worked at Woolworth until it closed down in 1997.

This mall is packed because not everyone wants to drive 50 minutes to KOP

You must have been there early morning I went there early morning a couple of times and it was dead but I recently went there two times later at night and it was packed
