Ich bin eine Berlinerin und habe in 1973 in Berlin gewohnt . Meine Mutter ist von Ost Deutchland geflohen ich bin sehr dankbar . I liebe Berlin , aber ich lebe jetzt in America , Berlin wird immer meine Heimatstadt bleiben . Danke fuer die guten Aufnamen .

Ich war 1973 das erste Mal als Tourist in Westberlin, mit Abstecher nach Ostberlin. Genauso habe ich es in Erinnerung. Großartige Aufnahmen!

Brings back old memories. I was in the Air Force, stationed in Berlin from 1971-1975. Stationed at Tempelhof.

I was in Berlin in Sept. 1973 and went up the TV tower and saw those goose stepping soldiers. Back in West Berlin went to the Kino and saw Roger Moore in James Bond Film. During the break I think there was an ad for a brothel. I was 27.

Ik was er als scholier in 1978. Zeer indrukwekkend. Beelden van de wisseling van de wacht heb ik nog goed voor ogen. In Oost-Berlijn was het zeer grauw.

Ich bin seit 2013 in Berlin. Es ist eine wunderbare kosmopolitische Stadt mit Geschichte und Kultur. Sehr freundliche Leute.

Interesting. I was stationed in West Germany in 1974 through 1975. I visited both West and East Berlin during that period. The two cities were like night and day under communism and capitalism. Yet all the peace loving anti government young people of West Germany fled to West Berlin to avoid the military draft and complain about capitalism and the USA. God bless young people.

Wäre Cool mal Filmaufnahmen aus der Zeit zu sehen in denen man mehr als die Mauer sieht. Als ob der Alltag in Beriln daraus bestand den ganzen Tag die Mauer anzustarren...

Im Ostteil Berlins schöne großzügige Flächen und Straßen,nicht so einengend gebaut wie im Westteil! Hässliche Architekturen lassen den Westteil Berlins kalt aussehen.
