Soviet war memorials have always been very fascinating to me. They're absolutely worth preserving as not only a memorial for the soldiers that fought and died, but of another era of history which, for better or worse, still impacts much of the world today. I feel like it's easy to forget how influential and powerful the USSR was and memorials like these help remind us of that. I really appreciate the tour and the history you shared, great video, man.

The memorial at treptower , was the two red granite Soviet flags re used chancellory marble?

That's the belief but there's no real evidence of that being true since the Chancellery never had red colored marble.
