Memphis1, I don’t recall the rate. I used the rate that is on the 2.5 gallon jug for turf. There’s different rates for different things like potted plants, etc. I believe it’s 9oz per 1k.

I hope BYD Junior realizes how fortunate he is to have father who takes time to teach him about what you do and how you do lawn care and all the problem solving steps you take to do your job. Most kids don’t have that and it shows up when they are young adults and they make really bad decisions that can affect them the rest of their life. Work him now he will at some point thank you for it. Paul D.

Hey BYD, I'm your neighbor to the West in Birmingham. Last week was CRAZY. High 90s with a heat index around 110 daily. We had afternoon storms that would form right over my house, but no rain. Literally sitting in the garage...chomping at the bit to get the grass cut. Weather radar with GPS on. Radar showing green, then yellow, then red develop right over the GPS dot, and not one drop of rain!! Storm cells that formed Northwest of my location fizzled out as they reached my area. Nice and dry, ready to cut, great!, right? Nope, to dark to even get started. This was daily! LOL This week...cool and still dry. It is 65 for a low, in AL, in July!! 😳 I have bigger issues. My pH is trying to nose dive. First soil tests last year since living here..flower beds were 6.8 to 7.1, lawn sections were 5.1 to 5.4. Added about 50-60+lbs per 1k sqft. last September. Just did another test, it's now 4.7 to 5.2. Caught a Lowe's with pelletized Lime for under $4 per bag. Found out their busted bags go for 1/2 price. With my discount, I came home with 380+lbs for just under $30. With rain in the forecast for Saturday, gotta do a lot of back and forth to my yard to cut, drop lime, and then fert. 🙁 LOVE the videos! 👍🏾

Good video BYD. Drought is killing us here in Dallas. I used the Lesco Moisture manager in April and recently just applied a bottle of Hydretain. I will be keeping these products as a staple during the summer months. Only downside to those bottles is it sprays EXTREMELY FAST. You really have to watch it. But I think it's really helped.
@na1du4 жыл бұрын
Which one you like better? Hydretain or Lesco Moisture Manager?
@LonghornsLegend4 жыл бұрын
@@na1du well for the most part they seem to be the same product just made by different brands but I'm going with Hydretain twice this year. They seem to specialize in this technology and I used them in the summer and just one dose was better then expected. One thing it does is turn that morning dew on the grass into usable water and seems to make sprinkler sessions last longer. The water bill stuff isn't exaggerated I was able to water like it was the fall in the middle of triple digit heat, but I do think I'll go with granular for a more even coverage and then maybe the liquid on top during peak summer.
@jwfos225 жыл бұрын
Just to update Siteone will sale it to the general public. I bought a 1 gal bottle of the Lesco Moisture Manager today. It was $81 after tax. That comes to about $20 per 32oz.

I love watching your videos over alot of other lawn KZfaqrs, simply because you are not trying to sell some bs product. Alot of these youtubers have turned to being sponsored or have some ties to a product and that's all they talk about. Buy this and your yard will be fabulous BS!! You have stuck with the stuff that works and not sponsored. Luv it!! Dont get me wrong, I will comment on some stuff I dont agree with, but that doesn't mean I dont love your Vids. Keep up the great work!!

Gonna have to try this, just came back from a 2 week vacation and left the yard to the daughter. OMG!!!!!!!!!! I have dead areas of burmuda, centipede and St. Augastine. All crunchy brown no moisture found after digging down 8-10 inches. Watering must be a challenge for her anyway Im'a try this product you have shown here and by the way a golf course working buddy of mine said they call those spray nozzles "K-1 or Kay ones". Anyway they are made to throw out alot of product a good distance. He said you can get em off Amazon for around 7 to 9 dollars some look like the ones you have here and some are round in shape. Thanks again man and a quick Hello form Robins Gaaawgia.

Found similar-like-product at Ace Hardware that you can have shipped to store and YOU don’t have to pay shipping cost, just pay for product.
