Australian Bernard Tomic retired from his match against Japan's Yuta Shimizu on Friday due to illness, with girlfriend Keely Hannah having tested positive for Covid-19.

I don't know this guy very well so can only judge him for this video - according to the commentator he is arguing with his girlfriend stating that she has tested positive for Covid on that day and should not be there. And this is causing a distraction. Seems like she is the problem if he didn't know she was going to be there. Not that I care much anyway.

Just a little info: Tomic did test positive for Covid after the match (May 27). His girlfriend claimed she tested positive 2 weeks prior and Tomic argued that it was more recent. He was quarantined after the match and has since returned to playing ( he made it to the finals of Tulsa tournament last week). That match (May 27th) makes it his 6th retirement from a match this year.

Paire actually leads their h2h😂Poor things.. guess they have their reasons for behaving like this, it's a pity that the ITF and ATP still tolerate these kinds of behaviour and let them cashout after this as well. At Challengers level, It's not a big paycheque but they should be fined like 50% or so until they start to show some respect to organisers and fans of a tournament but most importantly, respect to themselves, their behaviour is an absolute disgraces to the sport of tennis.
