Thank you for posting this song. I played this video for my mom two days before she died. Then I showed it to my brother a few minutes after my mom passed away. Bernadette sang, "...I'm flying..." and my mom's lamp dimmed and then came up. She sang this song for Mary Martin's funeral.

What a treat! I was 16 when I saw this and just tonight seeing it for the first time again!! 30+years later. This was on a short lived Carol Burnett summer show that was on Friday nights. It wasn't from the original show. I never forgot this or that dress!!

I saw her sing this in concert in Cincinnati's Music Hall, mystical! She was all in black with just a spot light, just her upper body. She looked like she was floating, and flying, just beautiful!

Gosh so far half of her songs are stuck in my head but that's a good thing for she knows how to sing more then anyone else does its shocking to think about isn't it annyways though she is the most talented person I've ever seen and it would mean everything if that I was able to meet her someday hopefully that day will come but for now at least all I can do is sit here and watch her work her magical singing voice on an entire audience

This is very well done, as is all Peters' work, but I can't rid myself of the spectacular standard Mary Martin version. Flying would be sheer excitement unless one were mellowed out on marijuana or booze.
