He is doing his part or what he can to make sure that doesn't happen. Bernie is being completely reasonable and logical instead of holding on to such a pridefull and negative sentament.

Technically a tattoo can be done (in prison; example) with a metal tip, ink, and heat. Soo.... I hear you, but Tattoos are not a reason for a lower class citizen to use their "riches." However. with education, that same lower class citizen could at least acknowledge the difference between an asset and a liability. A poor person can start investing more in assets (See: Rich Dad, Poor Dad, free audio book on youtube.) The problem with poor people being poor is they are being educated (peers/family) to have a disdain and distrust for those who are better off. Instead of buying assets that appreciate (like education itself) they invest in cars (depreciated value) TVs (depreciated) phones (depreciated) and the list goes on. You could invest on the FOREX or Stocks markets for $10-100... Poor people choose not to, not because they are against it, but because they are ignorant and not properly educated for success.
