our gov't borrows half of all the money it spends and has no savings account for some reason so we're $23.3T in debt (~$80k per citizen including children)-- it would take 8 years of the total annual economic output of the US to pay that back. 100% taxes for everyone and $0 gov't spending. think about that next time you think we're the richest country in the world.

Foreign aid is part of an annual bill. It would happen anyways, but it’s attached to the stimulus bill because that’s just how it worked out this year. The money for foreign aid isn’t even 10 percent of what it would take to do the one time 2000 stimulus check.
