@@TheFryedayif they can’t fill the slots with real competitors they shouldn’t be doing the contest at all. This was ridiculous. A few more years need to go by so girls skateboarding can progress a bit more and they can easily find competitors who can skate the whole plaza. Unless they’re gonna fly the whole women’s Street League out to MACBA then they shouldn’t be doing this

Well, without trying to discriminate, I think that the game must have participants who have a minimum level and certain tricks, otherwise it is not worth doing it

I don't know how good the other skaters that I haven't seen before will be, but it would honestly be more interesting if they just used only locals. Roos is awesome but its not so interesting to watch her fairly effortlessly do 3 things the other person won't try

The womens bracket is already small because they don't have that many people that want to do it I assume. I'd rather all locals, than Roos being 3x better than everyone else.

I understand. But probably for some skaters some tricks are uselessly risky. The three blocks for women is a thing. The switch front Ollie over a chair and down stairs (too many) by T Lemos is another too. Let’s split it and suggest that one NOGO should be allowed..

Ehhh what are they going to do? Form a human wall and not let you leave Macba until you make a solid attempt? A non-attempt is considered poor sportsmanship in any contest and somewhat disrespectful to your opponent, but action sports carry an unusually high level of risk. Imagine you're recovering from a broken wrist and someone sets drop-in on the sculpture. It's different to a sport like tennis. There's no reason whatsoever to just stand there while your opponent serves the ball over the net besides disrespect or disinterest.
