👣 WHAT: Historic urban walk 🕵️ WHY: To explore the story of German/Austrian 🇩🇪 🇦🇹 merchant sailors interned at Berrima during WWI. 📍WHERE: Berrima NSW. WHEN: We walked it in winter, but it could be done any time. TIME: The riverside walk takes about an hour return. But allow at least a few hours to go to the museum and explore the town's many beautiful 🏛 old buildings. 💚 DIFFICULTY: The river walk is very easy but not suitable for wheelchairs. 🍰🥘☕ FOOD: Plenty of very good restaurants to choose from. 🚻 TOILETS: Yes, in Berrima Reserve at the start of the river walk.
