Just purchased this firearm recently. It does come in a blue plastic case with only one mag but it is an 8rnd mag making it 8+1 out of the box. Excellent firearm.

held off till after Christmas to buy another gun, have my eye on steel, hammer-fired, the Plus is near the top of my list, But then.... SHOT Show just happened....now I have my eye on 3 stee/hammer 380s and a 15 rd micro 9.

Nice review. I own two, a Combat and a Concealed Carry, each of which have run through at least 500 rounds. Vastly underrated gun. Ball, HP, whatever... eats it all so long as I stay away from steel case and stick to Bersa-produced mags. Extremely accurate so long as I do my part. Maintenance is a snap. And easy to conceal, as you point out here. Both are in my EDC rotation.

I have one of the Thunder .380 Pluses (15+1), and it is a surprisingly accurate and soft shooting pistol. I was impressed the most by the trigger, as it rivals my 229 Legion and Gray Guns massaged HK P30. Another plus with these is they take Sig #6 sights.

Yep, I've had good luck and good experiences with these. As you may expect, they have plenty of detractors. Some of the many things I read about and hear from You Tuber's like Charlie Manson's bastard son YM are for instance, the aluminum frame cracks, they don't run reliably, it's cheap, they only honor the warranty if you're the original purchaser, it's not a Glock, etc, etc, etc. Mine have been accurate and reliable. Now, I only use ball ammo and I don't use Pro-Mag magazines either. I happen to think they're plenty good for what they are at the price point they are as well. You had mentioned many of the Eastern Euro surplus guns with similar workings that many of us have come to know, love, and respect so much. A lot of those mentioned I picked up years ago when they were at gun shows by the tons in wooden crates. The P-64's I used to get for $150.00 Same with the PA-63's from Romania. $150.00- Now these things many times are approaching the $500.00 mark but the Bersa's, they continue to remain in that $250.00--$300.00 range through and through. Multiple Presidential election insanity scenarios, scamdemics, and all other assorted manner of Tom Foolery and these have still generally remained "affordable." Everybody wants a Mercedes for a Hyundai sticker price. Pleeaasseee.....I really like these little guns and if you're reading this and you're that worried about all the fruitcake-ism that's been shoveled onto your lap by schizophrenic primadonna, Dr. Lecter loops, then just buy a spare. You likely won't need it but maybe you'll feel better and chances are you can afford to. Thanks Snake Doc for the video.

These are great little pistols! There are better.380 options to carry for ME but there's no denying the bersa thunder is a great shooter.
