Thanks for watching Simon! Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, Thailand delivers and as I always say when people ask how it was. It's hard to fail with the nice and warm weather, the warm waters, those beaches, the food and the nice people. I can really recommend you to go there. Khao Lak is calmer and not so touristic as Phuket and there are plenty of hotels to choose from. We always go with TUI since they have direct flights either to Phuket or to Krabi. TUI Fly Nordic flies Boeing 787-9 and we always choose Premium class with nice comfortable seats in the front and everything included. A direct flight from Gothenburg is now 12 hours when they have to fly around and avoid Russian airspace. Have a nice evening my friend! // Bertil.

Great video 👍 and very good editing and showing how great Khao Lak is 👌 We weee staying at White Sand Beach and if you return again try and visit it and down at the rocks when the tide is out or at sunset for some great shots as the sun sets 👍 have been visiting this area for the past 18 years now and still love the pace and the atmosphere 🙏🇹🇭 wow I just seen your notification for your next video May 8th 👍thanks

Nice hotel! Love the rooms don’t mind the thunder and rain when it’s hot lol 😂 coconut beach was really nice!!market also looks good! I’ve never been to Thailand but I know a few who have been. This area does look nice! Food looked great 15:35 what were these 18:13 ?

We never get enough of khao Lak...it's not your first time,so can you tell me what's your favorite hotel/guesthouse there? Thanks...

Hello Francis and thanks for watching! It's hard to get enough of Khao Lak. Once there you go back again. Yes, you're right. This wasn't our first visit to Khao Lak. It was our eighth time there. First time we stayed at The Andamania Resort Khaolak and second time at Apsara Beachfront Resort and Villa. Both great hotels but a bit far away. You always need a taxi when you want to go somewhere. So we switched to Khao Lak Laguna Resort with walking distance to Khao Lak center and many restaurants. At Laguna we stayed four years and had a bungalow the last three years which was great. After the pandemic prices went up so we looked around and found Ayara Villas where we have stayed the last two years. The location of Ayara is great with walking distance to Bang Niang market, the Tsunami Memorial Park and all the restaurants in the area. If I would go back I think I would choose Ayara again due to the location. @@Bertil_Lundin Hi Bertil, thanks for your answer. Yes we saw your videos and we'll going there almost every year from 2009. Mostly we rent bungalows and now searching a nice hotel for my brother/no motobike; (first time in Asia). Was hesitate between few days at Araya or Fanari at Bang Niang; not the best beach but central with plenty restaurants, shops and the market, few days on other beach; Emerald or Briza and to finish at the Loft bungalows (near Graceland and cheaper). Have a nice week-end too..

Thereby no knowledge of long stay offers but I have seen house rental offers in the "Khao Lak and surrounding areas of Thailand" Facebook group. facebook.com/groups/khaolakthailand2019 Put out a question there and may be you will get a hit.
