I am still hoping and praying that Beryl will weaken to just a tropical rain storm with very little wind and storm surge. I'm really thinking that my praying is working.

Thankyou! Definitely been a week that's been shorter on sleep. But I know we will have some slower times again this Summer before peak Hurricane season. This has honestly been a good practice storm to talk about if you will to get ready.

Good morning Mitch! Where's your hat it's not the weekend LOL. 🤭 I just want to say when I was watching you describe what's weakening the system is the troughing and the dry air as I was looking at tropical Storm Beryl, it looks like the dry air is trying to pull Beryl's pants off lol. As you can see it shearing away the bottom half of that system. I know people will laugh at this comment and that's okay laugh away, it's meant to be light hearted. Not disrespectful of anyone who is still in the path of this storm. Prayers for TX especially areas like Corpus Christi Galveston, Houston they're so low lying and Houston being built in a swamp, none of these areas can handle any kind of storm or tropical storm. Lots of flooding usually. God bless everyone and the animals!🙏🙏🙏❤

Smile dear Mitch. I'm praying for you. I'm here everyday although I may not have time to leave a comment. Everyone thinks I know how to solve their lives, find them a hotel, know the exact time a tornado is going to hit their exact town etc.... So I have so much I've been trying to deal with within and outside of the weather chat. I'm only a mod. Not the solver of everyone's lives. I wouldn't say major but definitely strong wind gust with a tornado risk.
