@@matson8008 We are living in the Yucatan Peninsula for the past 15 years. The first person in the video did say Yuck a tan but the second person was saying it correctly.

I've been wondering for several years if the man made calendars with leap years has created the illusion that weather patterns and local climates are about a month ahead of what one expects, though in reality they're "on time". Just a curiosity that's flitted around the back of my mind.

Referring to this as "record breaking" is kind of meaningless as even remotely accurate hurricane records only go back about 100 years. The weather guy should condition his statement with something like "as far back as we have accurate records......." . In any event, Channel 2 does an excellent job overall.

Normally in the Gulf the hurricane increases strength because the water temp is warmer...😅 Now at least you didn't say cyclone,,, like some others..

Look at all of those storm pockets from Nicaragua to Panama. I can't see how this is going to make landfall on the Yucatan. Both air and water current maps show this thing being pushed into Costa Rica. 🤔

All hype, check the local weather wind speeds under the storms bands. Find a town under the storm band search that towns weather conditions look at the current wind speed. You'll be shocked how all media is hyping the storm. Do your own research. Categories are based on wind speed.

Stop the 🧢 😂 This claim is inaccurate. On June 10, 1906, there was a Category 4 hurricane; on June 8, 1933, there was a Category 5 hurricane; on June 7, 1934, there was a Category 4 hurricane; on June 25, 1957, there was a Category 4 hurricane; and in June 2005, there was another Category 4 hurricane.
