5:20 This feels very very weird to hear, because regular people have hard time following our fast beat changes. While musicians want everyyrhing complex. And yet here we are looking for middle ground. And we can beatbox whatever we want even if it's slow and repetitive. If someones feels like going slow and melodic or doing a song cover he should. Beatbox is not about "not being machine" but making music. I hope you understood my complaints.

It’s the difference between a person who plays the little variations that make a live musician worth it, versus literally wanting absolutely no variation whatsoever. It’s not about massive beat changes. It’s about the little fills, the little accent points, the ghost notes, the slight delays on the hits. If you want that human touch, you want a musician. Otherwise, he’s exactly right. You don’t need a musician then, although you might use one. All you require is a drum track which never changes.

@@mshbeatbox dude what are you talking about. Music is all about opinion. Everyone has things they would prefer to hear or beatbox. Saying that his opinion about how beatboxers approach music is wrong is totally missing the point. When you look at all great music before about 20 years ago, it was very 'human', click tracks weren't used, mastering was limited, pitch correction and quantization weren't things. This has all changed in the last while and it has caused more 'mechanical' music to arise. To have a preference one way or another is very normal. Dont discount musical opinions so quickly. It comes off as gate keeping

@@mshbeatbox yeah i understand what your saying, and its true, we do the repetitive because it works and its just music, just with using our mouths. However, like what @Brad Randell said, don't discard the musical opinion. I tell you, there are reasons why certain beatboxers out class others in terms of the amount of people viewing and liking their content (cough cough codfish, d low) cuz they have a great understanding of musical art as well as the fact that people like in general (doesn't have to be a beat-boxer or even in the community) would just like it. Yeah, threes technical and whatnot, but that goes in comes out to greatness. you must receive the critic with open arms, thats what makes yu better. Im sure you will understand, my fellow beatboxer. Esh!
