+Tyler Kane The overwhelming majority of those within the NHL, KHL, Eli, SM, CE, DEL and other leagues are exceptional in their skating skills. You just don't see it on full display in games. But I can assure you, it's definitely there in many, not all, but many depending upon their position and importance.Besa is beyond renowned for years now whose skills and training camps are no stranger to many. Also, many pure figure skaters have for years assisted in improving skating technique in the leagues and figure skating skills - traditional "schools" - in pure established form are the tightest, period.

+death2pc Yeah I'm not trying to imply the players are bad skaters, you need to be a great skater to make the pros. Still, in this video you can compare him to Malkin, one of the better skaters in the world, and it's clear that he is on an entirely different level. His acceleration is ridiculously good. I see on his website that he will be offering a video analysis service soon, which is awesome. I definitely want to buy that, but it will probably be super expensive :/

+Tyler Kane A great many specific maneuvers that are being taught today (with this new flood of camps) while all well and good for general on to advanced edge and balance control esentially go outside the boundries of what is at most required at any given moment in today's hockey to the point of being "artistic" - esoteric. The game has significantly changed over the past decade plus with primary focus being that of zone play (thus reducing open play), be same offensive or defensive with the latter so good as to time and again "trap" the offensive element. The upshot on this being a great deal of straight-forward skating on the part of the offense with greater amounts of passing than in the past, high repetative maneuvers and combinations. So..............., a lot of the aforementioned "artistic" maneuvers are honestly lost in the final analysis. Case in point........... So-called "junk" goals are now a majority standard. Ridiculous. But that's the way it has come to be.Given my past I more than fully advocate all the basics and additional elements that are all manner of established and proven bedrock in the sport and encourage serious skaters, ultimately if it comes to same players to constantly improve their skill levels and technique, their speed and agility on (in this case) just their skates alone.........., but not get so caught up with some of the esoteric. The next time or more you watch a game reflect upon just how utterly straight-forward 99% of the skating is. Many neophytes today or those who are approching the sport would be substantially bettered by choosing a supposedly "lesser"/"lower performance" (softer") boot as the industry is coming at buyers with overly too stiff a boot many times and passing off same as being "better"/"higher performance" and at no small $$$$$$$, he overwhelming majority made in &#$#@!?* China, no less. Do the math on that outright crime. If many serious followers had any idea of just how often their hero's boots were far more flexible than they thought they'd get it right. So too with longer radius runners, template radiused at that and shallower hollow, but I digress...............Save your money. Just get out there and let time be your best educator.
