Bespoke colour inspiration scrap pack for Helen || Sky and Sand

When Helen's name came up in our draw for a custom box of fabric scraps, she chose "Sky and Sand" as her colour inspiration. I thought this was a beautiful prompt and I had a lot of fun putting a boxful of pieces together for her - here's a sneaky peek for you :)

Such a sweet gift - the same thing always happens to me when I pull out fabrics,laces and doilies to compile a bespoke happy mail - I always end up with far more than I can fit in my packaging! Cheers, Christine

It was so funny, I started off wondering if I'd have enough and ended up with Waaaaaay too much, still it will be fun now to have four of us (I've kept one myself) all with the same pack and seeing what we each come up with :)

Such a lovely gift. Yes it’s very easy to over board when making a little pack. I had one NZ swap this time and went a little crazy with a few treats, lovely though thinking fabric is with someone else. Had just started painting so gave her a pant pallet too with paints , loved the thought of helping someone at the start of there painting journey. Had way to much fun looking at fabrics having said this a found a few treasures too. lol hope you did as you made this wonderful pack up. See you tomorrow bright and early ish.

Thanks Paula, yes it's such a buzz sharing goodies isn't it, hopefully inspiring someone else's creativity. I've been so lucky to receive some beautiful things from people in the post, it's always so inspiring, but genuinely just as much fun to give as to recieve, sounds corny but true eh? It is rather fun to have a video where I am mentioned. I have already started work on my piece, it is quite big so it will likely take me a good while. I have plans for lots of stitching which is relaxing. Tomorrow is the 4th July and it is going to be super hot. Apart from a swim I suspect we will stay home. Thank you so much for the box Annie! I hope other people love theirs when they get them as much as I do.

Hope you had a fun 4th July (it was Election Day for us) and made the most of the sunshine - it's chilly, dark and raining again here :) xo
