Hello Norman, I hadn’t heard of those expensive companies, the option was to make a strap yourself, it’s easy once you have the leather, add your own buckle, easy to do.

Hey Norman, Holben's have 18mm Hirsch straps. I have a Black Lizard style on my M5 Accutron Spaceview.
@KillingTimeWithNorman2 жыл бұрын
Do they taper down to 14mm though? That was the biggest challenge. I've seen that taper on vintage Omegas and think it would look amazing on the Spaceview, Marlins, or Max Bill. - Poss eventually all three lol

@@KillingTimeWithNorman I just measured and Hirsch strap tapers down to 16mm near the clasp.

Put my first comment in twice then deleted them both, weird, the Marlon Band-O from CNS was my tip, rubber but leathery & just the taper you're looking for.

The only strap you need to pay someone to remove is the one on that dumb hat.

$200.00 for a watch strap is outrageous! You realize we are talking about $2.00 worth of leather and an hours labor.

you clearly have no idea what goes into making a watch strap. it takes me 3-5 hours depending on the complexity. you can look up a video of victorio projects who goes through the entire process. not only is it time intensive, but it also requires a lot of skill to create a really good strap that looks and feels amazing.
