@user-kh7rz6rv4o5 ай бұрын
He was communicating in his way. Such a dignified leader who knows how and when to wield his might. Of course we know that if he felt threatened or worse, felt that his children or wives were threatened, he has enough might to pull the intruder's arms and legs off. The people who would refer to gorillas as violent and hostile beasts back in the 1920s to 1940s, seemed to forget a very important detail of the encounter; that they were hunters and poachers trying to capture the babies and juvenile members of the family, to be sold to zoos, and others who had no respect for gorillas as persons. I think many of you out there who are fathers can identify and empathize with these dignified beings. If some animals or humans tried to grab your kids and shot your wife, you would go into the incredible Hulk mode and eliminate the threat. Yet, if you encounter a Silverback in the forest and know the proper protocol when you are in their home, the gorillas will actually be quite friendly and regal. Such a beautiful being and gift from God MUST be respected in their castle. Poachers, "trophy" hunters, etc. must STOP killing our relatives and listen to what they have to say. Listen from your heart and soul, not with just your ears. With modern technology, we can watch and learn about them, while not getting in their way. I didn't always think that way but after observing their lives via hidden cameras, humans have a better understanding of who these forest dwellers are. If you see something wrong, you need to say something. NO MORE POACHING and abuse of some of God's most amazing beings ❤.

Gorilla trekking is safe, if you follow a series of rules given by the lead trekker, and respect gorilla territory. Gorillas are peaceful gentle giants, and would much rather avoid conflict (as seen here). The grunting sound (clearing your throat) that the videographer is doing, and the silverback is mimicking is called a "peace vocalization." Gorillas make this noise when passing by, or in the vicinity of another gorilla troop. It means, "I am in the area and just passing by. I absolutely mean you no harm."

What a lot of people commenting don’t understand is that these guides take you to see gorillas that are tolerant/use to humans. There are obviously troops or bands of gorillas that are not as friendly that they stay away from, that’s why it’s extremely important to go on a guided tour so you don’t get your arms, legs, and Dick/balls ripped off your body that’ll later be used to play gorilla baseball

Still , why promote this kind of tourism against the odds , have you asked the gorilla permission , disturbing the privacy . Can I watch some one sitting at there house and watching everything the human is doing

Imagine going out in nature and leaving the fake shutter sound active on your digital camera. 🤦🏼♂️

Not many people know this, but gorillas actually love throwing barrels 🛢
