i was thinking the same, 4070 super or 7900GRE, im playing 2K, and i was seeing during my last games played that my gpu was using 11-12GB in many many games. So i have decided for the 7900 GRE, mainly because of the 16GB vram, and then i saw that since 2 weeks ago, they unlocked this GPU and now with the memory OC it fight face to face against 4070 TI SUPER, and im fucking happy with this card. 16GB is a MUST for the next GEN engines. BTW, i was using RT with my 3070 Ti, and it is pure marketing man, it fucks your gaming experience with many fps drops, and the visual improvements for me are just SHIT.

Just put one exhaust fan on the top over the air cooler. The other two are pulling cool air out without it being used.

I'm just about to build in this king 95 pro and have an all white build, I'm going to be using a Gigabyte UD-GM PG5 850W 80+ gold psu, also in white, but looking to get braided cables for this psu, where is the best place to get them? Rather than using the plastic cables, thanks in advance.

How does the 6400 ram work woth the Ryzen 7600x? Any testing since you built it? Very curious due to reports of a ceiling being reported by some users not having their 6000 working properly, and AMD stating 5400 as recommended.

I actually just finished my first ever build and it had the 7800X3D with 7900 GRE for a grand subtotal of $1222! Extremely happy with it! Coming from 23 years of console, this is a huge wake up call on how far behind I’ve been this whole time!

@@aatmannbc I shared it here! The $417 bundle was from Microcenter. There’s an online promo of $25 off to make it from $500 to $475. I had a $25 coupon, so $450. Then, they took another discount off after that for some reason that I’m not complaining about lol After that, they had the TN470 on sale for $69.99.

It depends on the price difference, If it's $50-$75 you can go safe with the GRE but if it is more the 7800xt it's your option

overclocking the 7900gre using will end up being close to the 4070ti super even moreso if you're using the Sapphire nitro version

Is ryzen 5 7600 non X good with 7900 gre on 1440p? because it shows 35% bottleneck, but the X version has 0%

There’s no bottleneck-the 7600 and 7600x are essentially identical CPUs once PBO is enabled on the non-X variant. I have a system with that exact combo-7900 GRE and 7600 and it doesn’t have any issues with 1440p gaming (Starfield on ultra settings gets roughly 75 FPS on average, on high settings I’m getting 90+).

With this budget you can get a 7900XTX with R5 7600 and good ram , good psu and good NVME . IF you cheap out all the rgb and unnecessary stuff

The 7800xt is cheaper by 50-100 dollars and has more vram and only has less fps by only a little

the 7800 xt is 10% faster and comes with 16gb plus is 50dls cheaper... the 4070 i dont think is good enough of a deal, not like it could really do RT properly heavily relies on DLSS to achieve decent stuff i would pick the amd card.-

the 7800xt is faster by a good margin for a cheaper price, better VRAM, better FPS, cheaper. The only thing the 4070 has going for it is the better ray tracing. if you don’t use ray tracing, there is no reason to get the 4070 at all. (You can still ray trace with the 7800xt just fine with FSR)

I haven't researched much on the AM5 Platform nor the new gens of Cpu's and Gpu's as I'm not interested with them due to some bugs and prices. But from what I heard, Yes they are. You can even get away with a Ryzen 5 7500f if you can find one available and it's supposedly cheaper than the Ryzen 5 7600 and Ryzen 5 7600x
