Thank you😊 the dollar is for the progressive. The corporation covers the payment per hand to the house. So it doesn't cost the player anything

so some TCP tables show the dealers up card and dont pay ante bonus on straight or better? because other tables I have seen (such as my local) pay 2:1 on ante straight and 3:1 / 4:1 on Str Flsh etc ... but the dealer doesn't expose any cards.

Yes that is the trade-off here. They expose a card but you don't get paid to the ante bonus on a straight or better. The only places I have seen a game like this is in California card rooms which is where I play

Don’t you get paid on pairs plus. What about when you have a straight no bonus on the ante?

Yes sometimes they pay the pair plus with the 6 card bet if it lost. There is no ante bonus because they expose a card. That's the trade off
