Thank you for talking about the safety of induction. My mother is hardly elderly but she forgets something on the stove at least once a week. She's burned many pots, I even had to ban her from cooking at my house. I've considered fire blankets or even basic fire suppression devices for her kitchen. I'm going to try replacing her gas range with an induction. PS - I LOVE the rankings.

I have my second 36” wolf induction, first one was a disaster and the second one the whole glass gets extremely hot when burners are on mid low, many other little problems as well, none of the burners stay on high, they keep turning off by itself, oven works perfectly the burners are absolute nightmare

Surprised the GE Cafe 30" slide-in with dual ovens wasn't on this list. Have spoken to a few owners and everyone seems happy, especially with the induction part. The ovens take maybe an extra 15-20 min to heat up. The product line is supposed to be one of the easiest to find service centers for.

Hello there! Love your rating system. Can you *please* tell me where the 30" BlueStar induction range would land on this rating? When will the 48" be coming? Is there going to be a 36" ? AND why did you give the Fisher Paykel only a B? I guess I wasn't clear why? Love the look. Okay with smaller oven. Is it reliable?? Thank you! (will be purchasing from Boston area ;)

I havent really looked at the BlueStar 30 inch. Their 48 inch will be later this year. Fisher Paykel is out now with theirs. Love F&P, but the oven is smaller

I have the F&P Classic 36" Induction Range. The cooktop design and simple features were what got me to buy it. I love the cooktop design, the center element and the flanking bridge-capable large elements. I wish this came in a rangetop. Unfortunately, electronics of the display went fritzy and the little knob broke when the tech was fixing the electronics. Parts take a while. The knobs are a bit uncomfortable to use. The oven is not awesome, things burn and cook unevenly. In my next home, I'll probably bring this range with me and keep enjoying the cooktop - which is truly great. I'll get some wolf or cafe double ovens to supplement. Wish I didn't have to do all that to get the best of both worlds.

6:14 I have always wondered about something... Gaggenau has only single convection ovens but their ovens are considered the best in the game...how do they do the oven game well when with the more basic convection system when others with single convection are seen as a negative like the Thermador here...

I know a wall oven is different from a 36" range but still...the same argument is made about 30" wall ovens too

Great question....Gaggenau seems to be built to a different standard. They also have more modes and elements for more even cooking. You can also adjust more precisely to 1 degree

@@YaleAppliance1 I have a follow up question. Been waiting for a gaggenau ovens video to ask but I guess I will do it here - other than size, is there a difference between the 24" and 30" gaggenau ovens in terms of features and performance?

GREAT question...GE, Bosch, Whirlpool and Miele have their own service. SubZero does in our market as well, but it really depends where you live as some are better than others. Check reviews on Google..just type in service to see which is best
@oopszie
@oopszie 2 ай бұрын
Subzero by far, their factory certified installers even add a year of factory warranty. Miele is good if they service in your area. Bosch will blame the installer even if it’s a Bosch contractor

Good question. Most take the full 50 amp circuit, so any kind of spike will cause issues. Electricians say to buy a "smoother" which reduces the chances of spikes affecting the stove
