I will instead explain how it (likely) works. So it is looking for analog values that would be natural for a controller. To get to 100, you have to pass thru 1 to 99 first. To get to 40, 1 to 39 and so on. Xims have a set value for the mouse to keep consistency. That said, it looks a little odd when your left stick is jumping straight to 50 (just for an example) with no in betweens. Not to mention opposite cardinal direction strafing, or the mouse also jumping values. All of that said, I dont think it can be avoided, but I dont play rainbow. Just the inference I got after learning you guys had an anticheat for kbm.

So pretty much any adapter works for the PS4, if you're looking something specifically for the PS5 it would be either xim matrix, or the monster

You should be able to

1 or 2 things going on. Could be the anti cheat getting you. I forgot exactly how it works, but I believe it makes your performance progressively worse the more you use it. Other possibility is settings stuff. If the first, then there is no fix. If the latter, then look up a guide for good settings then you can wiggle from there. My experience is limited to using some software on mw2009 2 years ago sorry.

@@michaelcraig9453 I mean roller should definitely have aim assist. But a mouse should never have aim assist wether on PC or console. But his input in game if you look shows roller but he was using a mouse, meaning he still had aim assist. That's cheating.

I can instead tell you what it could do then you judge. Fps games you could get aim assist on keyboard and mouse. You of course could turn aim assist off which would make it just like a keyboard and mouse. In games that dont support native kbm, you would be gaining an advantage not obtainable by others. In games that do support kbm, you are wasting money. You get what im sayin?

If you are worried moreso about a ban then its unbannable in most games, but some like Rainbow have an anticheat for mice.

Your right about aim assist, but I play siege that has 0 aim assist. The only real difference, is joysticks have deadzones and mouses don’t. That’s your advantage, that anyone can buy a xim and gain. How are my elite paddles not cheating?

@@landen7900 i quite literally told him its capabilities and said he could judge. Never said one way or the other myself. Tldr: its situational Since I actually have experience with pro controllers tho, I can say the slight edge they provide is negligible in the grand scheme of things. You get a slight speed increase, but it wont really fill in weak points. As for the xim, I myself believe its situational. If you are using scripts in any multiplayer game, that is cheating. If you are using kbm with aim assist in any multiplayer game it is cheating. Aim assist off is debatable. I dont play rainbow, but being familiar with no aim assist aim and kbm aim, I can see why rainbow might need a mouse trap. Apex on the other hand is a weird one. Again kbm with aim assist is bad, but without AA I feel like its fair on Apex. Crossplay is a thing so we already play other kbm users, but cant get kbm support ourselves because it is seen as unfair? Then you have games like call of duty where they do already have kbm support, so using a xim with no aim assist would be useless. Lastly, would like to mention fighting games in which I have a similar opinion to Apex. These modern fighting games are crossplay so other players have keyboard, arcade sticks, and all sorts of other stuff, but on console it only natively supports the basic controller. I actually have jumped thru the hoops to buy a special controller for street fighter, and I see it no different if someone bought a kbm adapter for it. Similarly to an elite controller, keyboards or hitboxes have their pros and cons, but cant make a bad player a pro overnight.
