Update 2023: When refilling AC Fluid connect your AC Pro pressure/fill device, fill till the Compressor goes into Short cycle mode. That's the goal. That means the fluid level is getting close. Watch your guage in short cycle mode the low end reading is the correct one, ignore the high end reading that goes into Red - the guage will go up then down while in short cycle. No need to press the trigger for a reading - in short cycle the low end reading is the only accurate one. Keep filling the system until the low end swing of the reading is in green. Then the low pressure switch will grant you access to A/C. The compressor will keep spinning. The pressure reading will be constant and not go high and low. Fill it fill it reaches the top end of the green range. DONE!!!
Extra Credit for the A/C Perfectionists:
Always Flush the A/C to rid the system of moisture/material and extend the life of your new parts before adding new coolant. Also replace your Accumulator and Orifice Tube. Extra credit it you swap your Condensor and get new lines.

I do hope you put the system on a vacuum before loading it with refrigerant. You are getting about 30% efficiency if your vents are showing 60 degrees. I cannot stress the importance of cleaning the whole system out and then replacing the orifice tube which is a filter that is definitely clogged. The accumulator has a desiccant inside it which keeps moisture out of the system. All of these plus a new condenser are especially crucial when the system has been discharged for an extended amount of time. All of these procedures prevent early compressor failure and skipping them will often nullify any warranty that accompanies the new purchase. Please don't think I'm bashing your work. I just want anyone in the future that views this to have the proper procedure and reasons for it available to read. Good luck everyone!

there should of been a sticker over the 2 holes telling you it had 3oz pre installed. my 97 Blazer calls for 8oz total,,, so I had to add 50z to my system. Also that high pressure switch comes in a few flavors,, ie clock positions, for different plugs.

Thanks for the video. What I'm looking for on mine is the high pressure switch that mounts on the back of the compressor(I also tore up the one in my compressor). Looks like a santec mt0447 from what I an see on the bag in video. And also the low pressure switch that mounts on the ac manifold that mounts on the top of the compressor. Also wouldn't hurt to know what the switch that mounts to the accumulator is too, looks like ac #15-2962 and GM #52 466358. Can you confirm part numbers for those? Thanks! And I couldn't get my hoses off without tearing up the connectors on the evaporator, accumulator and condenser and have replaced all of them as well. I took the hoses and accumulator off a while back and that's why I don't have or know what those parts should be! Condenser was a lot easier to get to than the evaporator! Evap is a beast!!

HI Mick! Loved sympathy for the devil! But hey, WHAT IS THAT SWITCH FOR on the accumulator?? Have you found that out by chance?
