Good stuff! All that and you never mentioned that it can operate with a 10440 battery. This significantly changes the output and runtimes.

I like how they made the clip, and if you take it off you can fix that gap using another o-ring! I also like that the low is lower than the first i3t, and the high is brighter! Obviously even better that it can use both types of batteries too!

I also like the I3t2's ability to take a 10440 lithium rechargeable cell as it makes it much more economical for me to use daily as an inspection light at work. I just keep a spare fully charged battery ready to go at all times. Much more environmentally friendly for regular use. Love the videos. Keep it up.

I need to pick up some 10440 batteries. I'd be curious to see if it affects the lumen levels... or at least if it was easy to see the difference. All my best Phil 🤘

I have the Olight I5T EOS, and I must say that the size differens between I5T (AA) and I3T (AAA) is negligible. You get a better runtime and output with AA :) Thanks for a great video 👍

It looks so nice and great review as usual! Glad they updated the i3t as it's my favourite size for EDC. Glad you showed it can be changed to start on low as I use that more the same as you said you do 👍 I've also two children with Autism myself so wanted to pick one up as my new light to carry but were sold out by the time I got to checkout! Will try and pick one up on Ebay or somewhere later now...

Nice review, managed to get myself a “free” i3t2 in black a couple of months ago using Ocoins on the olight website, lovely little torch, but one of the big changes from the original is the ability to officially use a 10440 3.7v lithium rechargeable cell as well as a traditional AAA this ramps up the high to the region of 300 lumens Which is a real pocket rocket. I know you may prefer the low mode use but it might be worth a look.

in my pocket is the Olight i5REOS. Almost the same but comes with a rechargeable battery that can be replaced with AAA.

I’ve been running 10440s in my i3t titanium for over a year. Works great, super bright, and doesn’t seem to get any hotter than my i5r with the battery it came with. Maybe titanium dissipates heat better. I don’t see any reason to upgrade. Or maybe aluminum over my titanium would be a downgrade.

I thought Olight was the light to have but have recently moved to Wuben. Price per light output of Wuben is far superior and is (IMHO) generally a better product. Olight were the brand of choice but haven't responded to better offerings from other manufacturers.

The low on the i3T2 looks very greenish here. Is it just the camera? Is it different than on the i3T. The green tint on the older i3T wasnt that strong.

I'd say it's roughly the same as the previous version. It's not too obvious but it's there. The camera might make it look worse for sure

so the clip is no longer reversible?

It has the double clip so you can slide it in forwards or backwards the same as the original. It's just attached differently. If you clip yours to you hat Brin, you can still do it with the newer one. Hope that helps
