Inverter A/c will come with more electronic parts with big PCB, if any electronic component gets failed u have to replace the whole pcb unit it will cost around 10k to 15k in approx Where as in Non inverter A/c operates with less electronic components with small pcb, if pcb gets failed it costs around 3k to 6k to get replace, even though non inverter A/c is a old technology it has less number of components with less features & simple process involved in cooling, so failure of components will be less & if failure occurs replacing cost will also less compared to inverter AC. There is no big power consumption difference in 3star inverter & non inverter AC(See Engineering Facts KZfaq Channel, it has practically proven the power consumption of 3 star inverter & non inverter AC), but there is huge price difference between 3stat inverter & non inverter 3 star AC. If u want 5 star Ac go for inverter AC intial cost will be high. If you want 3 star AC go for non inverter AC intial cost will be low. Don't but 3 stat inverter AC.

Inverter AC power consumption is low accepted but in real life for example inverter models take 130 units and normal AC take 200 units and one more technical information try to set 24 degree start and running time compressor not take too much current so life span of compressor also increases. Inverter AC maintenance is too high because inverter models both indoor and outdoor have pcb board if in case any issue in pcb board that pcb board cost is too high and normal AC any components or any issue easy to buy and low cost compared to inverter model and normal maintenance is low.

Invertor a/c is consumes more that is the power unit is more in invertor a/c & above all the PCB warranty is just 1 year. Only in carrier a/c PCB warranty is 5 years.(cost of PCB IS almost double that of normal Ac PCB ) Inverter Ac is costly. So normal Ac is advisable. But the sad part is normal ac's getting replaced by invertor ACS in almost in all showrooms ( manufacturers) - unless qualified professionals (like you - technjcally qualified- you may be in electronics..) it's been tested and verified with energy metre.

Many countries have regulations to manufacture only inverter acs to power consumption. I have both normal and inverter AC at home. Inverter consumes half power than normal.
