In this video we talk about the best AC units for your skoolie build. I believe this is the best AC for anyone trying to run a AC unit off a solar system.
We also learn if you should have 1 or 2 mini splits in your skoolie build. We have found the 12,000 BTU Pioneer Mini Splits are fantastic and super efficient!

Definitely what we are looking to do. Also going to use a dual compressor unit off of our motor. Seems a lot of people say you don't realize how hot they get till you drive them without ac. Keep up the great work.

Hi I'm from Dubai 😅 we have very hot weather and am working on a skoolie project . I have 2 ac split 18000 and the outside unit I installed on the roof virtually and I took out the compressor and turn horizontal . It worked perfectly but there's some sound from compressor because it's hit the roof am working to have some gap between it. thanks for video❤

I noodled this over for a long time, I have a 40' Blue Bird and I don't want the exterior units to be visible. I was ok with 2 registers and one outside unit but there was nowhere that big a unit would fit. I'll be doing the same thing, one unit under driver seat and one in engine bay.

nice work! We converting a 16' box into a mobiel stage, w 13' draw bridge and bi folding hard top canopy from roof rack. We hope to have roughly R14 through out. Big debate if we get 8000 btu or 12 and supposedly have to run it less... Hmmm. ;)

Could you run a Mini Split While driving with the condenser mounted in the Rear Engine bay? Anticipate any heat soak while the engine is running? Any concern about the condenser getting enough airflow?

Thanks for sharring this. How many BTUs in each of your ACs? Would two 9K BTUs be efficient enought to cool a 40fter or would two 12K BTUs be a better route?
