The problem is that she plays herself, or some Englishwoman. But in this case, she was supposed to play the Russian queen! Such a mediocre film that a Western viewer might think that the Russians behaved this way.

This acting is just terrible. But it is not the actor who is to blame for this, but the director. He plays a typical English idiot, and this has nothing in common with a Russian aristocrat. Russians never behaved like that, didn’t talk like that, didn’t make such grimaces. This would simply be unacceptable for the Russian Tsar and his wife.
