Shahrukh captured the pain, anguish, longing, heartbreaking, arrogance, naivety of Devdas so well. The audience connected with the film and it was such an astounding success. The critics however were divided, with most not liking it but who cares when the audiences embraced it with open arms. There are so many scenes which stand out but the last scene had its impact on an altogether different level. Devdas is love! I hope Shahrukh and Sanjay Bhansali work again on an epic soon. It has been long overdue.
