Most of the tripods I review are quite expensive.. finally we have one that I can both recomend, and that doesn't break the bank. You can find more from Colorado Tripod Company tripods

I love how you don't beat around the bush. Straight, to the point review. Just what we need. Having said that, I love this tripod. It looks really sleek and since I hike around my state a lot, it would be the perfect addition to my gear. I don't have a tripod yet and this would be perfect. My dad and I go hiking together but we almost never have photos together because one of us always has to handle the camera. This would solve that issue and we would finally have photos of us together at the all the beautiful places we go to. ❤️

Thanks for the review, I looked at this company about 2 years ago but opted for a Benro instead. I like it very much but at almost 4lbs sometimes I have to think twice about taking it w/ me or not. Really enjoy your videos and the quality on the latest videos is definitely a lot better production value. Keep it up Nick.

Sup Nick! been watching you for a while now and have learned quite a bit an have also received a lot of inspiration from your videos. I live in Colorado and go on 5-7 day overnight backpacking trips once a year and have never taken a tripod for many reasons but weight is definitely one of them. My current tripod situation is that I don't have one mainly because of the expense involved. Children are expensive. I have looked into the Colorado Tripod Company, they are in Denver, but they seem to be running behind of the production so I couldn't even get one the last time I looked. In watching you and your other KZfaq buds, I've learned a lot about focus and exposure stacking, long exposure and night photography. Thus far, I've been unable to pull these techniques off simply because a tripod is required.... did I mention that I don't have a tripod. HA! Seriously Nick, Love the show, love your presentation, your honesty and your photography. Cheers man and keep shooting! you can check out my insta for some shots if you'd like. @brianbuccaofficial

Thanks Nick for all your beautifully made content. You've taught me a lot since I became a serious amateur photographer but more importantly you inspire me to be self made! I've been using a Neewer 67" tripod off amazon for a couple of years. The Neewer has served its purpose but it displays all the problems you've mentioned in past videos about cheap tripods. I live with the problems, but it would be nice to upgrade. Keep up the great content sir!

I've just found your videos on KZfaq and subscribed immediately... just one video was enough for me, seeing how you can tell stories even without saying a word, like in your "Stormlight - Landscape photography during a lightning storm". It helped a lot you advised "Better with Headphones" 'cause it really is, I felt like by your side getting good pictures on the rain. Thanks for your inspirational videos. I am practically starting in this world, probably four or five years already but I am still learning. By the way, I have my old Manfroto tripod still doing his job but, this one your talking about seems to be very usefull, as well as the ballhead. Wish I could win it and use it down here at Miami. Once again, Thanks for sharing such a good material.

Just this last Saturday, my girlfriend and I went on a hike to a cave here in Utah. We took took some photos, and I popped the question right there in the cave (she said yes!). In all the excitement I grabbed up all of my gear and we hiked out of there and back home. When I unloaded my gear I realized my Sirui was missing two sections of one tripod leg... I thought, well, if I can't get this replaced I'll might buy one of those Colorado Tripod Co. Then BAM! Your video pops up on my sub list. It's a sign from the gear gods Nick. It's your destiny to give me free stuff. Don't deny your destiny.

Hey Nick, loved the video! After almost 7 years, my old and heavy Manfrotto 055 is falling apart, from the pesky center column not tightening to a leg not ratcheting into place and flopping down all the time, you could say my tripod is on its last leg 😉 I would love the chance to finally have a lighter, more robust tripod like this! Thanks for this video, Nick! This is a great lightweight tripod, ideal for the long hike when I don't want to carry a heavy load. I'm currently using an old, quite heavy Vanguard tripod with a ball head. The lever lock system is so rusted that I have to waste too much strength to extend the legs for each shoot. It's definitely due for replacement! I would love to use this Colorado tripod!

I’ve been using a Benro adventure tripod with a non removable center column and I agree with you: it’s an unnecessary item, and most often than not comes quite in between the process of setting for a close to the ground composition. And for this I’ve been thinking of replacing it. Nice video, Nick! Cheers

Hey Nick, long time viewer. I've been following you and the f4 guys for some time now. I'm really enjoying everyone's content. My current tripod set up is an Amazon purchased Koolehaoda. Hey Nick - always appreciate your review vids. Like that you take the time to actually use the tripod for a while before forming your opinions. I'm just starting to get serious about landscape photography, and find myself tripod-less after a recent move to Oregon. Had an old, heavy Manfrotto, but it apparently got left behind in the move or lost. Using an old aluminum tripod my grandfather owned at moment (quite awkward and unsafe for my D850). Was eye-balling this exact tripod and same ball head with lever from Colorado Tripod Company based on a head's up in an earlier vid of yours. Not really in the budget at moment, and also out of stock. So yours would find a happy home with me ;-)
