Quick tip: If you are really struggling to locate an outpost in Minecraft, there are two methods that you can use. Firstly, you can use Chunkbase, a third-party tool that allows you to find biomes and structures in your world. You can also create a copy of your world and use the "locate" command. It's worth noting that these method's can be seen as cheating by some players, and I haven't personally tried either of these methods (I found one on my first Elytra trip) they can be useful if you are truly desperate to find an outpost.

I built this next to a mountain… don’t build it next to a mountain guys, unless you wanna cover a 128x128 radius in leaf blocks

Note: to make the villager not die you need to build a 4 by 4 by using leaves then build up 2 blocks up on all and cover it up and put the bed there and make sure he can moves so he can move by 2 blocks it worked in my test world

Ravages can burn the top layer of leaves so make it like 13 blocks instead of 8. Destroy all profession blocks if nearby (composters, blast furnace, etc) if villager won’t sleep, try breaking bed and placing new bed down. Bell located under villager may help locate and also notifies you of each round with sound. Xp can go through blocks at close range; I recommend placing normal blocks instead of slabs by the kill chamber, then placing trapdoors on the blocks so you can have spacing (vindicators can reach through blocks sometimes)

It totally worked. I have this now in my survival and it is amazing! The only thing that I don't like about illagers is that they don't let me do this build as an aesthetic medieval tower or something because they literally spawn everywhere! But that's a Minecraft mechanic, your farm is AMAZING!!

ran into the issue of the raids spawning outside of the killing chamber because there are two large mountains within about 50 blocks. Had to dig them down each about 10 blocks then cover in leaves (and then do another layer of leaves about 20 blocks up to block the snow.

Just a tip if you build it in a snow biome. Use froglights underneath the leaves it prevents snow on top of the leaves . If not the pillagers will spawn on top of the snow . Worked for me

Farm is working as intended, it was a slight bit of a struggle to build but it was worth it. I was not expecting to get it working first try but i did! Good farm.

Was trying to get the captain to spawn on the east and not west but once i fixed that it works good, also had to make the top portion a little higher cause the leaves burnt

Hey just a quick suggestion to make things easier to understand, instead of just saying "this direction", use the locater map to signify what direction you are building out in. Would clarify a lot of parts.

Died a couple of times building this but works perfectly 😅 in a snow biome so used the scaffolding ontop of items instead of leaves so the snow cant collect, also as others advised built the top chamber a bit taller (11blocks) to avoid the ravager on fire issue. So far so good great build and instructions. Any advice on avoiding getting poisoned by the witches?

I like this design but it seems to work in some games and not in others. The raid killer on the top chamber worked flawlessly without a doubt, but the outpost Pillagers wouldn’t spawn in the bottom chamber. What I did was move the trident killer lower on the level of where the remaining birch floor is, and made a piston pusher so whenever everytime they spawn they just get pushed into the killer. I have no idea how this design is supposed to keep them in. It made sense when he described it but bedrock is a weird game so.

Works amazing! I’d give 2 likes if I could. Only problem I had was a rail system too close to the raid area so mobs would spawn on top of the blocks, changed the path to leaves and it’s been great ever since! Great video

On the outpost I’m at the captains keep spawning on the outside do I just have to keep killing them until they spawn in the glass area?

Tip: for those taking damage from trident killer just add trapdoors on the slabs seems to have worked for me

I've never built a raid farm before but on the round that I'm on with my family we really needed emeralds and this was super easy to follow it was super straightforward I didn't get confused there were times where I couldn't hear very well but that's just cuz I have terrible hearing but it works great and I will definitely be using your videos again

the lava right above the trident killer can actually backfire on you big time, if a witch spawns in the raid she will sometimes: hit the lava, immediately pop a fire resistance potion, and then just sit there perpetually bobbing in the lava trying to swim upwards. the fire resistance wears off, she takes damage from the lava, she pops another fire resistance potion, chugs a healing potion to recover her health, and this process just repeats indefinitely. not common, but if it does happen i’m pretty sure it’ll just naturally sit there repeating itself until you manually kill the witch. you have to go up top and fire random arrows into the lava. might as well just remove the lava alltogether

Made this today works great

8 blocks isn’t high enough (needs to be 11). Sometimes the ravagers with pillagers on their backs pile up, and when they catch on fire they burn the leaves off the wall at the top, allowing for mobs to spawn there. Love the lava inside the bottom of the drop chute though, great idea and it works well.

Sometimes Witches use fire resistance and get stuck by swimming on top of the lava in the killing chamber. To fix this simply add a sign on the block diagonally opposite to the lava source. This way Ravagers still get killed by the lava (since they’re bigger that one block) but witches using fire resistance flow down into the killing chamber. Worked for me.

Also for anyone that wants totems from it put your game mode on hard when you do it

U can use a boat to put a villager and connect a lead and if u want to go up u can build with blocks and the boat will follow u because of the lead connected to the boat

I built this whole thing in a frozen biome, not realizing that not only would my top water freeze, but that snow accumulating on everything makes spawn proofing useless. Finally figured out to cover everything in a 2 block tall roof of snow blocks and it fixed it but yeeeesh, took some messing with lol

the reason they dont spawn cuz they need a 2x2 solid block spawn spot the way he did it is not right use mud hoppers work with mud so use mud and don't use the spawn spot he use go to the spot they spawn in and put the hoppers there it will work then

Built the farm, works great… but built it in a snowy biome… when the snow builds up on the leaves can they spawn? The leaves on the top keep breaking, not often enough to be lightning i dont think but im gonna place a lightning rod in the center of the farm above it and cross my fingers, im also gonna like the outer walls with torched to try and get the snow to melt, i had to place a torch next to the water block aswell so that it wouldnt freeze

would just waiting at the trident killer that gets you bad omen until you get max bad omen then just going up work for totems? would the auto killing bit still work for the whole raid?

Was having issues with getting the banner guys to spawn in the farm in the beginning. I solved it by watching a video of another raid farm where he started off with blocking the spawns of the tower by placing leaves in certain locations. Once I did that things start working just fine. Hard for me to describe where the spawns are so looking for a video on it should help. It involved placing leave blocks in a few locations 8 blocks apart on all levels of the tower.

Those who still have captain spawning problems, please check your game mode and set it to hard mode, if still captain spawning is not happening then wait for 10 minutes because captain spawns every 10 minutes interval. 😊😊, its good and works smooth but its not that fast as you aspect and after raid completion i am getting only 4-5 totems 😢

When I built this, I am having trouble with 5:47, build on top of the farm. I couldn’t line it up with the hopper to the trident killer. Any ideas how that might happened?

Quick Tip: Placing a powdered snow block directly beneath the dropper will eliminate all sideways momentum and the drops will fall straight down. Learned this from Docm77. No more "Willy Nilly."

I have an issue on the trident killer where you get exp from the pistons push the observer out of the machine and it breaks the trident killer and i die to evokers

Does the trident take durability when geting pushed by the pistons?

in the video when he throw his trident in his chest are on the opposite side but for me there right next to the machine which later on becomes a problem I tried to move it to another side but then it just doesn't look like the video at all and im afraid that it might mess me up later on. I have an issue with raid enemies spawning on the villager even with the leaves and everything placed exactly as the video does I have also tried moving the villager to different locations as well and nothing changes

All of my Xp is invisible and spawns at the bottom of the farm. Im aware of the bug with the invisible orbs but how can i keep the xp at the top so I dont have to go up and down all the time?

Don't bother with the hoppers collection system at the bottom just make a basic storage system linked to the hoppers under the raid killing chamber instead bc the other one doesn't give useful items

does destroying the WHOLE outpost affect the farm? also how do i stop banner man from spawning on top of the block above the glass, can i just leave it open?

if they spawn outside of it, remove hoppers and put mud over hoppers then put leaves inside the bottom of the outpost then everywhere you see a full block put leaves and you'll be fine

I had a hard time making the captain spawn in the chamber. What I did is I went around the outpost and spawn proof everything by a 41 x 41 radius with leaves. I also reduced my chunk radius, set the game on hard and it works 100% every time.

My bad omen farm dosent work the pilliger spawns somewhere else i was sure to follow the south east location but its still dosent work

Bro i made this in a fucking snow biome and it still worked. Sure it was a copy and in creative but it still functions. I'll get around to doing it in my survival and give more feedback i guess

Tips for finding pillager outpost idk if this method work on PC but you can copy your world to make another one and make that copied world into a creative mode and locate the pillager thats what im doing right now i know its cheating but its not cheating when you can sill achievenents😂😂😂 i hope it helps

Finallyyyyy!!!!! My first ever raid farm and it works so gooodd!!!!! But it doesn't give much XP but still I got a ton of totems!!!! Nether portal farm works better for xp

idk what messed up the build, at first pillager keep spawning on top of the killing chamber even with leaves on top, then after that those ravegers then keep spawning on the afk platform even if i put leaves on top of my head, it made me delete my world that took me several days just for developing the village
