It’s crazy that the DMR is back to being halo’s main competitive weapon

For me its the little things, like the shot timing or the 5 shots as opposed to 4. Or the reload speed lol. My muscle memory is all confused. But overall i think its a decent change but they 100% need to remove the old bandits from the wall guns

Popping in and out of zoom with the AR has already improved my effectiveness and accuracy greatly (my accuracy has jumped from high 20%s to low-mid 40%s since I started focusing on zoom sense), and for a weapon like the EVO where patience matters more than lead downrange, having that reduced sensitivity when you pop into scope is definitely going to help a lot. Really looking forward to using the EVO, I might finally poke into Ranked while the environment is still changing.

Looking forward to your controller settings video! I know you always focus on sensitivity settings, but I’m also curious about button mappings and if using default mappings will hold me back in the long run. Keep grinding Spartan!

Thanks for the tips. I have the most challenging time getting the last headshot in. I feel like the reticle feels smaller on the bandit than the battle rifle. I really have to be precise, take my time, and not spam the bandit lol

The bandit takes more of every skill. Left stick aim+right stick aim even more sometimes. Having ur strafe down, using the environment, map awareness to get that first shot or two on them etc. Using the bandit also incentivizes picking up other weapons throughout the map a a little more too.

As a M&K player I first thought this gun might be great... its the complete opposite, this turned me from a 1.88 KD player to a 0.59 KD player over night. So far this feels like it makes M&K harder.

I think the Bandit EVO has changed the way people should strafe as well. A lot of sweaty movements jumping and whatnot can get someone killed fast when a skilled player is using the Bandit EVO. I have been told that a longer wider strafe is better with the Bandit EVO instead of small strafes, and quick spamming crouch strafes.

What field of view do you use with this settings? Thanks for your video 😅 I got better with the bandit. I use to be a tryhard on Halo 5 when I was younger. Now that I am an adult I do not have to much time to play and I am a mess on competitive 😔

He’s right, I found it easier to play with the bandit when I lowered my sensitivity.

So I was watching your strafing video about changing your max input threshold from Max out to the polar opposite, but when you were in your settings in this video it looked like you changed it back to Max again, have you changed your opinion about the max input threshold when it comes to the bandit Evo?

I’ve noticed that you have to slow down your gameplay with the BEVO to has success. Doesn’t feel as athletic as the BR

This weapon feels PERFECT

I'm an MNK player, for some reason I am finding it next to IMPOSSIBLE to hit that last shot in the perfect with the bandit evo, but the second i get my hands on a normal bandit rifle, i hit perfects like its nobody's business, I love the gun dont get me wrong, but i feel like they changed the values of bullet magnetism on it compared to the normal bandit rifle, can anyone confirm/deny this? Maybe im just tweakin idk

My reticle on the bandit is super small, even when I change the FOV it stays the same size, any way I can change this??

They made the evo controller friendly. Yesterday, all the mnk players were still shooting between 35-45% accuracy on average in all the games I was in in ranked. But the controller players were averaging over 50%. On top of that, it can now kill better at long range than the commando, so it feels like controller players are even stronger now. I'm disappointed but no point in complaining, it's the reality of the situation now. I wish they would fix melee at least. I would probably get 20 a game if that wasn't broken.

I love halo and the new bandit. My only issue with the game is that right stick aiming punishes you. Halo never had that issue. I think it's more noob friendly that's why they did it. I don't know. Either way, nice video. I think the main thing is learning how all the aim settings work and finding the right one for you. I always say worry about aim first, then how fast you can turn. A lot of ppl just wanna move fast lol. Sacrificing aim.

New to infinite got ab 200 games played average accuracy is 45-50% and average dmg is 4500 and ranked plat 3 in 4v4 and plat 5 in 2v2 is this good?

How do you avoid people killing you on the flank with such low sens? I feel like even on 3/6/6 I have a lot of trouble turning around quick enough to fight off an opponent that has flanked me.

If you are already decent with the BR, treat the BEVO just like it. Just remember that’s it’s semi. Was actually shocked to find out Bandit starts was official & not a rumor. First day of the season, I had the mindset of “Aight, gotta learn the rhythm all over again”. It wasn’t until I got my first perfect I realized, “Heh, it feels like a Semi-BR”. The only difference is that, it’s a 5 shot compared to a 4. I’ve gotten so used to 4s that it’s basically muscle memory for me to stop body shots & head shot the 4th “Burst” lol. As for the comment mentioning strafes, short strafes/crouch strafes mixups still work to a an extent. You Just have to hit your shots ;). As for low sense for better tracking, you can easily argue that reaction time for new targets is gonna be frustrating. Yes you may win your 1v1’s, but your not thinking about the outcome of the match. However many times it may happen, I’d rather lose some of my 1v1s w/ high sense & still win the games with good comms & team shots. With that put into consideration, there is always gonna be that one fight that determines the match. I’d like to welcome new players to infinite, hope you enjoy your stay!!!. As for the usuals….see you when I see you 😈👅.

They should change the starting weapon every year to keep things fresh and force competitive players to constantly adapt and practice everything and not get too comfortable. Next year they should do the h5 pistol or maybe even commando starts, that would be real fun to watch pros use lol. Just an idea

So 60 percent accuracy is high then? Was hitting that number every single game last night. I love it. I just need my teams to get good with it lol. Went posituve every game, way positive, and still lost half hahaha. I am SOOOOO much better at ranked now. I was used to halo 5, snd your abilitiy to play aggressively and still come out on top. Still survive. With the br in infinire, you could not beat two people period. Unless they severly messed up. Youre going to end up one shot after MOST one v ones with the br. And the teammates can fly in and clean up withoit even really Trying with the br from anywhere on the map. Bandit allows for you to display individual skill gaps via gun play alone. Where before jt really became more about positioning and your team playing together at higher levels. At higher levels everyone can hit the exact wame shots with the br. The gameplay looks identical.

This is a MnK gun period .. I get so many perfects with mouse it aint funny.. I find 600-800 DPI with a bit of playing with the in game sensitivity works great as with such a low DPI very rarely miss shots.. but I will suggest to turn on mouse acceleration on such low mouse DPI's as hard AF to turn your player other wise

the tip that works best for me, uninstall infinite and go back to MCC. Absolutely hate the bandit. Its not even that its a struggle with the bandit/evo. i just hate how it feels, sounds, ROF. everything. BR feels more like halo, Bandit starts feel like a diff game. But i also wasnt a fan of H5 Or the DMR in reach. I would rather them just add more fall off dmg to the BR. Every thing else with it was fine. Players now days that think BR is too "OP" just never played much Halo 2 or even 3. Its just how good halo plays, BR vs BR. Halo3 had alot lower projectile velocity which i wouldnt mind. But dont think it would work with infinite's crappy servers & desync issues. (which is honestly BRs biggest issue)

It's kind of gross controller players use movement to abuse aim assist to aim instead of actually aiming.

Evo is a legitimate precision weapon. It's going to make and break alot of players. It already has. Me personally, ALL 5 shots are important. Not sure about the logic behind the "first and last shot" theory. Also, do NOT jump. Get your straffe on point instead. Im challenging firefights alot more now and getting multi kills while being 1 shot. I knew the BR was fucked when you're able to kill someone with 4 shots and it still not be a perfect. The players that rely on sweeping the reticle in hopes of hitting at least 1 of the bursts, that tactic is officially dead. Since using the EVO, my accuracy has consistently been in the 60's Yea i ranted a bit but fuck it....

Game is so ass now. what halo ever has a semi auto as a primary. i want the BR back BR IS HALO. WHY CHANGE IT
