Back when I stayed in Bali, Kuta and Sanur circa 2012, my hotel in Kuta was around $15. My Bed and Breakfast in Sanur was $10. Both located within three blocks from the beach. I hope can still get these rates. Was just an amazing time, and just so cheap too.

You are so well travelled in this region 😊 I lived in Ubud, Nusa Dua and Uluwatu back in 2015 and 2018. The amazing thing about Bali is that no matter what’s your budget you can find your ideal place to live

@@traveltaskforce Agreed. Personally, I prefer to live with the locals, as local do. Why be a snobby tourist, when you can actually see, feel, and speak w/ locals. Only way I could see being a tourist is perhaps ... perhaps if you've only got a few days or a week or two off a year to travel ... even then, you're not really doing or seeing anything other than tourist destinations.

Sadly for most people they only have 2-3 weeks of annual leaves and can only travel during this period…
