Today is a very special video, because I'm filming it in the heart of the desert. Last year I went on vacation to the amazing and mysterious oasis of Siwa, a dream came true for me because I dreamt of going there since I was in college. Siwa is the perfect place to do this video where I speak about all the fragrances that remind of the desert somehow.

That was so much fun!!! I loved the tour, and the background music was perfection! Such a breath of sunshine and fresh air as I look out my window at the grey day outside. You had me rushing to my fragrance cabinet and spraying Montale’s Arabian Tonka layered with Ellie Saab No. 10 Amanda Tonka!! I had to get with the vibe! Well done.

Thank you Noura for sharing images of beautiful Siwa 😍! I'm not an amber aficionada but I made an exception for the very dry and Immortelle forward "Sables" from Goutal, this one could evoke the desert too, I think. Ambre chromatique is on my wishlist although I'm a woman 😉, I find it very unique!

I loved the video! The best dry / desert scent for me is YSL Saharienne. I have to try it, just love it. The intro and the music in your video reminded me of some books - Khaled Hosseini ("The Kite Runner" or "The Thusand Splendid Suns") or Linda Holeman "The Saffron Gate" although the action takes place in Afganistan not in Egypt.

Thanks for taking us along on your vacation. You reminded me of my trip to Egypt years ago and the sunrise and sunsets were amazing. Amber's my favourite note and i love dry ambers such as ACDD, original Opium, Dune, L'Elephant, Ambre Sultan and Dendera by Centauri. Thanks again for your video
