Jurupa Valley was incorporated in the county of Riverside from the communities of Mira Loma, Glen Avon, Indian Hills, Rubidoux, Pedley, and Sunnyslope. While the city is only a decade old, these communities have weathered the storm of toxic waste and child killers.
