I am a graphite-artist and I always use the Faber Castell -Mat pencils. If you draw with them you don’t get the shiny cover on your work ánd the pencils go up to 14B. Almost pitchblack. Fantastic tools ❤

Yep! This is quite a nice box! Just about any FC supply is worth it! there are personal preferences and that is just about the only reason you might not use Polychromos pencils! They are considered top of the line Art supplies! I have used many supplies from this company for years and years! Thanks for giving us an insight to these excellent offering from them!

I think it comes in and out of stock regularly. If you add something else to your cart like an openstock pencil, the shipping price goes down a lot.

I wonder if we'll have the industrial tolerances to go eventually smaller than even 0.1. I've been addicted to 0.5 and smaller for years. I swear if they release a pencil/pen one day thats just kinda lightly shading atoms and only visible via electron microscope I'll end up having to buy it.

Yes the Pitt graphite Matt pencil has a reduced reflection or shine on paper unlike that of than traditional graphite. The Faber-Castell Pitt graphite matt goes up yo 14 B. The work quite well.

Their prior one was better, and this one felt like a takeaway, so I passed. I might get the next one.

You should try the Posca pencils and pastels. They are awesome. The cases it comes in makes them very portable in sketch cases

Very cool box

I looked into this when it came out but decided against it at the time. Maybe next time. Also I really like that white paper and buy the spiral bound pads. It comes in a variety of sizes including a square shape that’s fun. It’s 250gsm I think so won’t take heavy washes but it works with so many different mediums, it’s a great art journal! I’m not a colorist but really enjoy your channel (and Rose,❤️). Thank you!

I got this box several months ago too. It’s a really great way to sample their products. I ended up getting a set of the markers because of this. The only caveat to the box, was the sharpener they included is too small for some of the pencils they included. 🤦‍♀️It’s not a big deal, but it seems to me being such a great company, they would have thought about that.
