I was watching the Metro reveal live. I immediately knew it was Metro from the music alone. It's so memorable from both 28 Days and Metro that I instantly associate that song with them.

Audience reactions to game reveals always makes me cry (happy tears) a little because I know what all those people are feeling when they realize their favorite game is getting a sequel cuz I've been there. It's not a feeling you can describe to someone who doesn't understand.

Ori and the will of the wisps made people cry before the title was even dropped. Gareth coker is a god when it comes to that. Also: For a much more... energetic reaction to the WoW Vanilla release watch Nixxioms video on it. He freaked out because he wished for it but has been saying that it will never come for about 2 years.

I gotta admit as an old fart now (I'm 43) and having been a gamer now for basically 4 decades - it still gets me excited seeing big reveals for games. Even if I'll never play that game (Metroid Prim 4, Bayonetta 3, stuff like that) I still get goosebumps though!

To me the reveals that stand out as getting the biggest reactions I've ever seen are Final Fantasy 7 remake, Elder Scrolls VI, Breath of the Wild, Last of Us Part II and StarCraft II. I can still remember the marine saying "Hell, it's about time" and the crowd going nuts.
