Күн бұрынBest Baits for Stocked Trout Fishing! Back at Lake Gregory fishing for stocked rainbow trout and lightning trout. Calaveras Trout are back at Lake Gregory with some quality trout stockings! Trout were hitting on a variety of different colored Micetails early morning and some powerbait in the afternoon! Lightning Trout were sure biting, people were catch all over the shoreline! Looking forward to heading back soon for more fishing!

Have started going fishing for the first time in my life (on my own unfortunately) and haven’t had a bite in my first 8 trips, is there any tips you would give me?

Would recommend changing up spots if theres no bites after 30 minutes. Changing up leader lengths and baits helps also. Trout fishing is usually best early morning or in the evenings. We use a carolina rig with #16 treble hook, with a 4lb test line and anywhere between a 1ft - 3 ft leader, with micetails or powerbait.
